Q: Will it work with other bicycle racks or exclusively with the Rambo one?

I just bought a random rack and drilled a hole for the hitch. It works just fine. Just be careful about buying to flimsy of one because the trailer is heavy once the kayak is strapped on and will bend anything that isnt decent quality.

Q: Did you fix the design flaw (that Alan Teplin pointed out) when you lean into a turn that the kayak trailer wants to direct instead of the bike?

Yes, I put a standard engine 7/8 trailer ball on the back of my bicycle and I added an inch and 7/8 receiver and shorten the trailer to accommodate my boat and all of that. It works great and I wish I could just add a photo because it looks pretty cool too and it gets me and my surf kayak over the intracoastal bridge to fund surf all the time!! I wish you could actually see it! But videos and all that crap I'm just an analog guy, as can be evidenced by my solution to this problem that I share with you.

Yes, it does. Wheels also snap off (snap rings) for storage and travel. Also, really a nice trailer for e-Bikes. Great for hunting, fishing or canoeing in areas where vehicles are not allowed. P.S you will love the wheels on this little trailer. They are sturdy and well-built for this trailer. They also appear to have heavy duty wheel bearings for easy pulling with your bike. JimE
