Tasty cappuccino and lattes
We have had this for about a week and we have been very pleased with it. It was easy to set up and use. It came quickly and has performed as advertised. It had a smaller footprint than I guessed from the photo, but that worked out well for my kitchen space. It heats quickly so on rushed mornings, we can still grab a latte at home.

1st Espresso Machine
This is my first time purchasing an Espresso Machine as a result I was looking at the reviews between this one (what I wanted) and a Mr. Coffee machine. I almost elected Mr. Coffee until I remembered that the internet reviews are very harsh so I purchased this item.I'm going to address of the things that I was concerned about, for this machine that almost made me go with Mr CoffeeDoes it Get Hot?I like hot coffee and cold, lukewarm coffee would be a major disappointment. The "Coffee" portion of the machine does get hot. The issue with this machine is that the milk frother, froth's milk, so when you make a Latte (only thing I've been making) it pours in froth milk (cold) into hot water and thereby cooling the "hot coffee". As one of the other reviewers mention they do, I just throw it into the microwave. Its an extra step but now I have a hot Latte.Does it leak?I only experienced a leak because I didn't dump the removable drip tray. Some may have had a faulty unit but if you don't dump the drip tray it will overflow and leak.Spoiled Milk SmellI haven't experienced this but the way I suspect this can occur if you never run the very simple clean cycle. Dried milk is starting to form at the end of the milk dispenser nasal. I would recommend purchasing or having some cleaning brushes on hand. Also I suspect if you leave the milk in the container and don't detach and store it in the fridge. Is it easy to cleanYes! Super super easy. What I doWell I'm reading the manual because this is a luxury purchase for me. I'm buying bottled water (SmartWater) and using that exclusively in the machine because there's no telling what's in tap water and I want to ensure 1) I have great tasting coffee 2) this luxury purchase of mine last for a while. What i wishI wish it made larger cups of espresso. I know its a single cup for at home use but I have to make 3-4 cups per coffee drinking session.Great product. Glad I didn't let the reviews get to them. Worst case you return it to amazon and buy a different product. If this is your 1st go at a home espresso machine give it a shot. Its cute and simple. Easy to clean.

I do not recommend this product or brand.
The media could not be loaded. The Product:The espresso machine makes a quality cup of espresso, but in 6 months the espresso machine stopped working. It seems the groove that the portafilter is secured in has worn and no longer provides the seal necessary to contain the water during brewing. The water travels through the worn groove around the portafilter rather than through the portafilter and grounds. Another quality issue with the product is it always seems to leak from the catch tray. Even when the tray is empty the product would leak water onto the counter leaving stains under it.The Brand:Espresso works has the worst customer service/warranty team I have experienced. Espresso works provides a one year warranty on this product and ours failed within 6 months. We have been pursuing a solution to the products failure with espresso works for 2 months. In this time espresso works has shown that it does not read the customer feedback or watch videos that they request for troubleshooting purposes. We have worked with the same representative over these two months and every time we provide the requested information they offer the same solution. We have told them that the solution does not work yet it is the only solution they offer: a new portafilter will fix our machine. We have had 2 new portafilters sent to us none of them have fix our machine, then they offered a third portafilter. We have asked for a return label so the espresso works team can troubleshoot it themselves, but this was ignored. It appears that espresso works is not interested in honoring their warranty.I do not recommended the espresso works machine and the interactions we have had with their customer service has been terrible. Do not waste your money on this machine.

Perplexing Leak
Was very excited to get this machine and even more excited that I got it on sale. I do not think it is worth the full price and I am questioning if it is worth the sale price. It makes phenomenal espresso shots. However, when making a cappuccino or latte, the milk does not get hot enough to melt a sugar cube. The other issue I cannot comprehend is that when I make a cappuccino or latte, the drip tray fills with water but no water leaks in the drip pan when making an espresso. It is just weird. I have removed the water tank multiple times thinking it is not sealing but it continues to leak when making the cappuccinos and lattes.I have not reached out to the manufacturer as of yet. I am hoping it just stops.Basically…buy an espresso machine…because otherwise you will be heating your milk on the stive or in the microwave.
