This restaurant is a Brooklyn landmark in my book. The best Italian cuisine you can get in the city. If you ever have the chance I highly recommend it. Their menu will change your mind on simple italian cuisine done to perfection. For dessert go against your own judgement and order the prune dessert. My cousin who used to manage one of their offshoots Prime Meats introduced me to the fact the Frankies were going to be getting into the olive oil business. Knowing the quality and detail that goes into their food I was excited to try it. Got my first bottle from the restaurant and after moving upstate my local import store started carrying it. For some reason they don't carry it at my local store any longer so either I grab it when I'm in the city or luckily I can get it on Amazon now. Olive oil is part of my daily diet and I try new ones if they seem legit. I have tried almost every authentic olive oil you can imagine. This italian olive oil rivals any authentic Greek oil in my opinion. Plus you know it's legit. There's alot of manipulative practices behind the scenes in the olive oil world. It's nice to know there's an amazing and legit one out there.

Best of the best
I did my due diligence and with lots of taste testing to assist, this is without a doubt the cleanest, most flavorful olive oil I have ever had. I've obstained from ALL seed oils for decades but this olive oil is not to be confused with the crappy canolas or other adulterated olive oils on the market. Beware when ordering anything in restaurants unless you like toxic oils. Once heat hits an oil the chemical change becomes toxic to your mitochondria. Check out the statistics over the past 100 years and it's off the chart regarding cancers, obesity, and any diseases affecting organs. Even vision! They are studying the correlation between seed oils and age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). BUYER BEWARE...MAHA!

A Great Find!
Absolutely the best tasting EVOO I have had in ages & I've been testing them all year. Unfortunately, it isn't cost friendly so I have to have others on hand as I use so much. But a great find.

Light color oil
Smooth with a slight peppery finish. The light coloring was unexpected. I expected a green dark oil.Pisano organic unfiltered stands up to my expectations.
