One of the better expansions of the game.

If you're thinking about getting this, then you're probably already a fan of Red Dragon Inn in general, so an overview of the game isn't necessary. So what does this set of characters bring to the game?Simplicity. And that is NOT a bad thing. The previous sets and some of the standalone characters have had complicated rules and tokens and counters and special cards... not this crew! The characters are pretty straightforward and good choices for players who may not be as familiar with the game.The complexity comes in the Sea Event Deck... which, honestly, isn't all THAT complex. Some nice twists to the game, it's a decent addition. But the best part about the Sea Event Deck is that it is optional. If you want to add the complexity, you can. If you're looking for just a simple, quick game, leave it out. It is not a vital component to any of these sea-faring characters.Great addition, overall!

Got this expansion since it has some differing rules in it. Really love this game. A friend of mine introduced me to it at a late night game session after work. Of course we had 5 people playing and where at a 24 hour restaurant and enjoying the late night. So it was a great experience. The box is like the others in the series. With a nice set of full color rules and the usual cards and things. If you are a fan of red dragon in and don't have this set in my opinion you should get this one.

Great addition to RDI collection especially with the new sea event cards. Would like to see more new drinks but overall awesome.

I've gotten almost every variation of this game. It is a fantastic group activity that all of our friends enjoy playing. This one in particular was delivered in perfect condition in a timely fashion. The characters in this version are our favorite so far! This game throws in a new aspect of sea events, which is great fun! Will definitely suggest this to anyone wanting a new fun game to play with friends.
