Or garlic! TO be fair, I only use for garlic, mainly crushing but sometimes slicing. This tool does it all.Comes with a silicon bag to roll a clove and remove loose outer skin. place a few cloves in crusher (depending one size) and pull down handle. out comes crushed garlic flesh through the holes. simply wipe remnants and the main skin (if not peeled prior) will be left in the base of the crusher. Just tease out with knife tip or something similar.Slicer is equally as good and leaves perfectly evenly sliced pieces of garlic. There is a cleaner in the handle to help unclog holes in crusher and wipe slicer blades.Solid, feels sturdy and easy to useI just pop it in the dish washer and job done, ready for next use.

Lightweight, reliable, handy press, no mess. 5 stars from me even considering the extra effort (if we may call it effort; rather a nuisance) in cleaning after the slicer's been used.Haven't tested it yet in a dishwasher as the machine that I own is too old and aggressive; but I'd trust it in a modern appliance.Both garlic press and the black sleeve for peeling the cloves have been in use everytime since purchase. I've had others in the past, by far those are most fit for the job.

I've had my old garlic mincer for about 15 years, but lately my recipes have asked for thinly sliced garlic but my arthritic hands just won't oblige, so I thought, for the price, this was worth a try.I wished I'd found this sooner, I wouldn't have gone through so many plasters.It slices with no effort and there's hardly anything left in the container when its crushed.I had never heard of the rocker/peeler, but its so easy. You just cut the ends of, put it in the little silicone mat and just roll it backward and forwards and the skin comes off. This was the first time I've used garlic and not had the smell in my fingers for hours.Its L19cm x W3.8cm x D5cm and is a well made, strong little gadget and very worthy of its price.

This garlic press/slicer functions perfectly!The only issue is it's not very easy to clean. The slicing part accumulates the garlic in the top part of the press. And even with the brush provided it takes quite a bit of effort to get it totally garlic free.But personally I'd rather go to this effort rather than slice the garlic by knife!

Bits tend to get trapped in slots and holes making it hard to clean even with brushes.

The garlic mincer part works well and the slicer also works well too, and the garlic doesn't get too stuck around the edges like other presses. My only complaint is that since there are two folding parts, one mincer and slicer, if one isn't folded into the correct place the press doesn't work, and so it's more fiddly than other traditional ones with just a mincer.
