These magazines are NOT compatible with the Nerf Rival Pathfinder.The magazine is missing spacers that fit inside the mag well of the Pathfinder to seat the magazine properly.

I haven’t actually used these yet, as they are a Christmas gift, but upon review of what my son already has, from nerf, I would say there isn’t a difference. I guess I can’t give 5 stars until maybe after Christmas! I guess I was a little unclear that they came empty, but that was my lack of understanding. Actually, my son picked these out and put them in the cart months ago, and I know he reads reviews and picked them for a reason.

The overall quality is basically indistinguishable from official Nerf mags, but the top squared section is about a millimeter too short to properly eject Rival rounds into blasters like the Finisher. There's a small latch at the top of Rival magazines that stops the rounds from popping out of the magazine when it's not in a blaster. That little latch requires a snug fit to disengage, which unfortunately doesn't happen on these magazines unless you shove the mag upwards into the blaster every time you want a round to be chambered. Luckily I have a 3D printer, so all I needed was 4 8x8x1 millimeter discs (2 discs for each magazine) taped to the mags' catch lips to solve this, but if you don't have a solution to this issue, these magazines won't work properly in blasters like the Finisher.

i just received this product for my nerf rival, and so far i love it.it holds 12 balls and on the rare occasion i can sneak 1 more ball for 13(it holds for a while till it pops the 13th ball out after about 30 - 1 hr of standby)i dont know if these springs will lose their effectiveness yet but i will just store my balls(HAHA) separately for now.my only gripe with this is the different bottom from the original nerf rival clips. so don't just drop them on a hard surface, unless you glue some soft pads or something to the bottom.

They hold 12 Nerf bullets & fit our nerf gun. I find they can get hung up inside & tough to remove sometimes. I also find that the bullets tend to get jammed inside easier.

Only thing my son said would be better is if they had a soft rubber or silicone bottom because the Nerf ones do and it makes it better to protect them from cracking if dropped
