Heated clothes airer
Absolutely amazing! Good value for money, dries smaller, light clothes in less than a day, heavier, large clothes dry overnight, as long as you cover the drier with a sheet. Assembled really quickly and easily, folds down for storage quickly when not needed.

Pretty happy with this
Bought this as I was so sick of it taking days and days to dry things in this weather, and there are some things that just can’t cope in the tumble drier. It’s a great product, dries things really quickly.Really easy to put up, no “assembly” required which is a bonus for me.Pretty cheap to run.It does take up quite a bit of space when up and in use, but it does fold down fairly compact when not using.

Good quality
Good quality, sturdy and highly useful - helps dry my clothes much faster and seems to be pretty energy efficient too.

Ultra Quick Dryer
Quick delivery and ultra quick drying. Its taller and narrower than the dry soon (I have had the latter for a year or so but it seems to be losing its power).I will keep this dryer up permanently as I have the space, I have at least one load of washing per day and Im conscious of the reviews which say the folding point are a weak point.I have ordered a smart plug to take advantage of cheaper electricity tariffs and I deliberately didn't order the wheels and cover as both are not great on the dry soon.I am using a superking sheet as a cover for this one, seems to work fine.

Initially great but plastic hinge part melted & broke after 1 month exposing wires
Until today I would have given this Airer 5 stars. I’ve had it for 1 month. I was impressed by the capacity, drying ability, cost-effectiveness & ease of storage once folded.Having read other reviews before buying I wasn’t surprised that it was lightweight and slightly flimsy in construction. As long as it was sturdy enough to take my washing and the racks heated well enough to dry them faster than a non heated Airer I was happy. It met my expectations for the first 4 weeks.A few reviewers had commented on the plastic hinge breaking. I assumed they had simply been too heavy handed when opening out the racks. So I was very careful when unfolding and folding the racks for storage, putting absolutely no pressure on them at all. And equally careful when putting clothes on the Airer to dry, placing them carefully and gently on the bars.Today I removed a 1/2 load of washing from the Airer which hadn’t even filled all the racks. When I came to folding it again for storage the middle rack didn’t seem to swivel as easily as it had previously. I didn’t try to force it in any way. I just looked to see where it may have caught.Imagine my surprise and disappointment to find that, despite my careful handling, one of the side hinges was not fully attached to the side bar. The plastic bolt holding the rack in place was completely loose, had broken away and simply slid out, exposing the wires. On closer inspection it seemed that part of the plastic bolt casing had slightly melted, causing the hinge to break apart.I don’t use a cover, so the heat from the bars should simply have been the normal drying heat, not an intensified heat from being enclosed.I now cannot use this Airer. I am genuinely sad about this as I thought I’d found a really great solution to drying clothes over the winter.Black & Decker is known brand with a good reputation. Because quite a lot of reviews are positive I thought maybe I’d received a rogue item from a faulty batch, so decided I’d try a replacement rather than a refund. There is nowhere at all on the Amazon site (that I can find) where I can request a replacement. It’s a refund or nothing. And having read some reviews with dreadful stories about their refund experience for this product this is really not the route I want to go. I need an alternative drying option now, not in several weeks as, if and when Evri ever turn up.Hopefully Amazon or Black & Decker will read this and resolve this quickly for me. I’ll come back and update this review once I have a resolution - or not. And if I do receive a replacement item I’ll review it after using so I can provide an informed review for others on whether my item was a rogue faulty one or this product in general should come with a “buyer beware” notice. Hopefully it will be the former.

Doubt the review will be posted in full even though there is no swearing, Worked well until it broke
This worked well for 10 months, until the bottom hinge broke revealing the electric cables, similar to many other owners. Luckily my 4 year old granddaughter was nowhere near it as I dread to think what would have happened. As bad, or almost worse is the utter uselessness of AMAZON staff in rectifying this. I started the returns process on the 11th October and was told that EVRI (Hermes as was) would collect on the next working day. waited in on the 12th, and the 13th, contacted Amazon support and was given a collection date of 17th October, again with Evri, who once again, didn't turn up. I contacted Amazon Customer Services ( now there's an oxymoron) who again set a collection date, to be fair, the person did try to use a different courier, DPD this time.To my utter surprise, DPD actually turned up to collect the airer on the 18th. Heres where the fun starts..... on the 19th, I get a text to say DPD are due to deliver a parcel. I thought it was a scam text, but, to my astonishment, they turned up, with the broken Airer. The Amazon Customer Services Representative had used my address for the return address when booking the collection and not the warehouse. So, now I have the broken Airer back, I contacted Amazon Customer services again ( Ironic how they can call it that) and I'm told that they will again collect, and that I have to wait 2 days for the collection company to get in touch. You've guessed it, EVRI again. In the meantime, washing is piling up, I still have the broken Airer and can't afford to buy a new one until Amazon Customer services actually supply a fully rounded service to this customer.Rant almost over, we'll see what happens n 2 days.
