These look great and work great for my bulk pantry items and seemed worth the expense after my first order of them, so I planned on collecting enough of them to store most of my flours, sugars, grains, etc. But my second order of three of them was placed directly in the shipping box with nothing to protect against impacts, and one of them arrived cracked with a small chunk missing (see attached image). Because the seller is overseas, it was going to be almost $40 to return it for my $24 refund. This makes no sense. I'll try to find these elsewhere or look for another product to build my pantry around.

I keep my bread crumbs, flour, grains in a drawer. I love the size and the clear tops so I can see the contents.

I have a couple of others of these containers in other sizes. I bought this one individually, and the others in a set. NONE OF THEM ARE AIR TIGHT as is often claimed by the company and some users. I know they upgraded these a few years ago, so was hoping they fixed the issue of it not being air-tight, but sadly this has not happened. I tested the air-tightness by putting water in and shaking it - quite a bit of water leaked out...very annoying for the company to claim these are air tight. This is a real shame and they are a good size and shape and can be stacked so you are using every available inch in your cupboard. I guess if air-tightness doesn't matter too much (ie, probably ok for pasta and pulses, not great for flour or sugar) then they are ok. I was hoping to replace the heavy, glass jars I use (Le Parfait with the rubber seals), but as they are not air tight, I'll stick with them.

Does exactly what it should. Really nice size and shape, lid seals without being difficult to take off and put on. Originally bought to store powders, has been put into use as a temporary bread bin, due to being the perfect size for the loafs our bread maker produces. Keeps bread fresh for days, and the accompanying moisture tray has stopped and dampness from still warm loaves causing any issues. All in all a great container, more will be purchased.

See through, finally our ‘dead bread’ bin, the chins and wood lidded place bread went to die and decompose is no more and our bread is also as fresh a daisy as it keeps it moist and airy. We can see what we’ve got, it’s kept fresh, it’s discreet storage Ava you could have one per family member if you’ve a gluten free person or in my case a husband obsessed with cheese bread. Buy it!

I have been buying Mepal Modula containers over the Lock-Down to re-organise my kitchen. They are strong and easy to use. The lids push & pull on very easily. I have been dish-washing the bases and just wiping the lids with a cleaner.If you put the lids in the dishwasher, they come out fine but water gets stuck under the edges. you CAN prize the lid apart... the white section from the clear section. I have done this a few times and it clicks back together no problem, but its not something I would want to do all the time, as I feel they may eventually break. So have chosen to just wipe the lids.Will be buying more!

Exactly what I was looking for to fit in my kitchen pull out drawers. I don’t know why people are saying the lids are loose, they are a completely different design than other brands and the lids definitely feel sealed when closed! Love them so much , I’m ordering another 4 to fill my drawer. These are the only large rectangle containers I could find after lots of research.
