Got out one of these hoops this morning to start a gift for my sister, and has just now had split wood pin the soft skin between my thumb and index finger to the hoop. Had to pull my skin away really slowly to avoid a splinter. On inspection another split further around the hoop also. Had to sand both areas right down. Don't recommend. Tightening mechanism isn't the best either.

These earrings are way to big. They’re all different sizes too.

I should have heeded the reviews for this product and steered clear!The hoops are very difficult to tighten and even when you have managed to tighten it, it still works loose. It's like fighting a losing battle!

At this time I have only used the two smallest hoops for small projects. However the hoops are leaving a small mark on the fabric (sap?) thus spoiling the design. Having to use a screwdriver to tighten the hoop as there’s not much grip.

There is a good number and variety of hoops. They essentially do the job. However the quality is poor with splinters on multiple of them, and a tough screw that requires a screw driver. I wont purchase again, others are better, on Amazon too.

Received these today. Well packaged. Tightening mechanism appears to be a nut that is turned on the screw, rather than the normal fitting that the screw moves into. A white rather than bronze metal. Either cross threaded or over machine tightened as impossible to undo. Complete waste of money

These are cheap, but they do not keep the fabric taut enough. The screw is also very stiff and difficult to tighten or loosen. These may suit beginners only, but I wouldn’t bother.

Well made, great value, perfect for holding embroidery or for framing small masterpieces.
