Struggled to find a tool set that didn't include a knife which means it can't go in your carry on. This tool has everything you need to loosen or tighten photography devices with no knife, and is ok to carry on! Great quality, light, and functional tool set!

The build is definitely sturdy and it’s so small it can fit in your pocket with room to spare, comes with a nice pouch and no more digging for Allen wrenches. Perfect, I just wish it was a little bit easier to separate the tools but at that point I’m just nitpicking.

Got one, used it, got one for my son

I hate having to keep multiple Allen wrenches since I never know where they end up and its super inconvenient. I try to get adatores, plates, tripods, whatever camera accessories I need that DO NOT require an allen wrench or a penny to tighten. A simple thumb screw allows you to tighen on the spot and whenever you need too. But unfortunately I still have some itmes that need the tools for tightening.I saw this and thought its exactly what I need. Its fairly small, about 3 inches long and fits right in your pocket. That's a game changer for me. It has a screw driver tool but its a big slotted one about 3/8" wide for tightening those quick release plates without a wing nut type and usually needs a penny or dime in order to tighten. That's perfect since I have had to borrow a dime in the past to do that. It also has all the Allen wrench sizes I have needed plus a Philips screw head just in case.This is essentially a foldable Allen wrench set like you get at the hardware store but has the Philips head and the slotted head and a small footprint. The quality of this is really nice and it also comes in a nice pouch for storage. A nice bonus to this is several 1/4" screw holes for extra screws in case you need one plus a few other screw hole sizes for the same reason. Great Idea since that has come up as an issue once before. This is really a must have tool if you are a photographer or videographer. Well worth it.

Por precio adquirí una herramienta similar pero de otra marca. Me arrepentí casi de inmediato. Ahora que tengo está de SmallRig me siento confiado en que podré instalar o remover cualquier accesorio fácil h rápidamente. Está bien hecha, con las medidas justas para cualquier accesorio de la marca. Y por el tamaño no es fácil que se te pierda como las llaves individuales

Entre la zapata de peakdesign y la jaula con los accesorios de la camara tenía que ir con varios tamaños de llaves allen y los iba cambiado de la mochila a la bolsa, hasta que un día me dejé una de las llaves atrás con el problema que esto supone, así que decidí tener una herramienta para todo. Con el precio que tiene hasta me planteo tener una en cada bolsa.

Tutti i Cage, maniglie e qualsiasi accessorio ideato e commercializzato da SmallRig arriva con tutta la "ferramenta" necessaria al montaggio e smontaggio, nella quasi totalità delle volte tutti gli attrezzi hanno una vera e propria nicchia magnetica all'interno dello stesso prodotto, per cui è impossibile rimanere senza chiavino o accessorio per montaggio smontaggio. Tuttavia questo coltellino svizzero fotografico racchiude al suo interno tutti gli attrezzi necessari per riggare e sriggare le nostre camere dall'ecosistema SmallRig. Packaging super Green, nessuna traccia di plastica pervenuta.Ottimo anche come idea regalo simpatica ed economica per fotografi, videomaker o appassionati del genere!

The tool is great. Quality is awesome. Let's just get that out of the way before I dive into the mess that is the packaging.This product and packaging is the very definition of over-engineering and waste. The tool is solid metal and VERY sturdy so I do not feel that the 5 levels of packaging were required to ship this product. Where will most people put this tool? I think it's safe to say that it will fit in a little slot inside a pelican case or in a pocket inside a camera bag or vest. Does it really need a soft bag with drawstring and a hard case with pocket and zipper? I only with my camera came packed as safely as this tool did.So, this SOLID metal tool... it comes inside a soft bag, inside a hard shell case with zipper, inside another thick plastic bag, inside a lidded box, and all of that came shipped inside an Amazon box with air-filled bubble padding. Maybe next time I could order just the tool and maybe save half of the total cost of this product?Again, the SmallRig tool set is fantastic and I highly recommend it but I can help but feel the price is inflated due to the extensive packaging. On the bright side, at least you have some options for storing the tool if you plan on tossing it in an open bag with your gear.
