MomoyaChili Oil with Fried Garlic Taberu Layu 3.88 Oz

This is very delicious and I can use it in so many recipes. It works perfectly to make my own kani salad, and I've also used it in a variety of other recipes. I could eat this out of the jar with a spoon. The crispiness of the garlic chips is especially enjoyable. The ingredients in this are a lot better than most of the other brands, or at least most of the other brands available on Amazon that I compared it to. It doesn't have any horrible preservatives in it like so many others. If it weren't for the price being rather high for the amount received, I would order this regularly. As it stands, I only consider ordering it for special occasions.

Really tasty but has no heat to it. If you want a spicy chilli garlic this is not it. But great flavor enhancer for food

In my opinion, this is a must have pantry item! So good on edamame, silken tofu, miso soup, and ramen! The possibilities are endless too! Even my kids love it! It’s not spicy just yummy.l!

I like my chili oil with a bit more kick, but this one does have a nice flavor and the crispy garlic is very good. I've enjoyed it, but won't purchase again due to cost and lack of heat

I usually pick up several bottles of this chili oil with fried garlic when it is available. I use it in salad dressings, marinades, toppings for all sorts of meat and vegetables. Can I say I love this stuff. It is pleasantly garlicky without being overwhelming. I love the crunchy garlic and the chili oil is spicy enough without being burn your tongue hot.This is the first time I have gotten a bottle that had the nutritional values and ingredients in English. Most of the bottle has only Japanese characters on it. I found out that it has MSG in it, but the quantity does not seem to bother me as it does when I go out to eat in Asian restaurants. It sounds like I am pouring it on everything, I wish, but the serving size is one teaspoon and that is about all I was using before I could read what it said in English. Others have mentioned that it is expensive, but considering the quality and that one doesn't use much at one time, I feel is worth cost. If you haven't so far, try it.

I've bought this a couple times and like it. BUT read the ingredients - it is based on Rapeseed Oil which is very unhealthy. Do your own research. Choose the other Japanese brand that uses other better oils.

There’s actually a lot more oil than herb in this. But if you like more oil then go for it! I prefer to spoon more of the garlic stuff and not so much oil. It’s a very light toasty earthy flavor and not much garlic which I’m looking for.
