Sport Skyline Fountain Pen Fox, Fine Nib Sport Octagonal Clip Chrome

I like smaller pens that can be used as pocket pens, and bought this as an impulse buy. I already have a few of the Kaweco Sport ballpoint pens so am familiar with this line, but decided to try this fountain pen version because I liked the color. The pen is a little longer than the ballpoint version when capped: 10.5 cm, 4 3/16"; when posted the length is 13.3 cm, 5 1/4". This version has a detachable pocket clip on the cap, which means that it can be worn in a shirt pocket. I got the fine nib, and it is a true fine. The ink flow is good, but thins just a little as one writes for an extended period. The nib has a hint of scratchiness/feedback, but I find that it is a little reassuring, actually. The balance is fairly good for a small pen. The diameter is good for a range of hand sizes, including larger hands, and coupled with the lightweight plastic body this reduces any fatigue if the pen is used for a longer time. The plastic body will pick up scratches and nicks if you carry the pen in a pocket with keys and coins, so I put it into a Kaweco Sport Leather sleeve before pocketing it. Overall, this is a good, inexpensive pen well-suited for everyday use. I use the standard international size (short) ink cartridges with it.

This is my first experience with a Kaweco Sport, and I'm in love. The pen looks fantastic, it's a great writer (and the fine is fine enough for my tastes), and it's great looking too. I like it so much that I bought a Brass Sport to go with it. The only thing that I'd change is greater capacity (which I get is hard to do) or releasing a special edition that's a piston filler like the original Sports.

This is a nice compact pen that is great for beginners. This isn't my first Kaweco and it won't be my last.

It’s tiny and affordable. Definitely feels a bit cheaper than I expected. The clip is basically useless, but it’s not a bad pen and the size is great for taking on the go.

Ordered because I’d already fallen in heart with a Kaweco rollerball sport pen; I bought that one in store and didn’t get a tin either FYI. This pen typically arrives with a Kaweco tin to store the pen and one other or whatever you like but the one that arrived for me didn’t. Couldn’t get a swap. Other than that, lovely edc pen, light, easy to use. Refills are a little tricky since it takes a bit to get the ink flow going but once it starts, smooth writing.

I love the color options and the size of this. It works great as a pocket pen that you can have on you at all times.

Compact, excellent quality plastic fine writer

Overall good quality. Written smoothly. The only thing is that the fine nib is not really fine, compared with the Japanese brand I am currently using.
