I needed a low-tech, minimalist, functional approach to display my travel calendar in almost every room in the house. The MaxGear acrylic sign holders are an inexpensive, adaptable, and convenient solution that allows for two months at-a-glance perspective (created in letter-size on my computer) that allows for quick-change and updates. I even tested a dry board marker on the acrylic which worked well but chose not to use. While I love the calendar app on my smartphone for the details, the maximus view gives me instant oversight.CONSIDERATIONS: I believe MaxGear offers a landscape version of their acrylic holder as the portrait version does not hold landscape inserts. Also this product has four peel-and-stick adhesive on each corner; I opted to hang it using a bulldog clamp and picture-hanging hook.BOTTOM LINE: I'm completely satisfied with MaxGear's sign holders and would recommend it.

I liked these but the only thing I would have changed was putting the option of having a holder that is not a sticker that is one use on the back. I didn’t use to stick on the wall. I just had mine as leaning against the back wall of my bookcase. The holders are sturdy and come with scratch proof coverings that peel off before use, which was nice. There was no slipping out of my documents and the acrylic was clear and did not have any kind of “fog” effect on it. Hope that helps.

Overall happy with these, especially for the price point! They stick well, and worked perfect to hang out company newsletters through our branch offices.I am concerned about them holding up long-term. I feel like I have to be very gentle when swapping out the papers or else I might break the plastic. Some already have plastic “stress marks” at the bends.They are also slightly different in sizing. Some fit an 11x17 sheet PERFECT, when some are just a sliver shorter so the paper bubbles a little - not awful but definitely a little annoying.

Caution, make sure you know exactly where you want to place this on your wall. The adhesive strips on the back is strong ! I attempted to pull it of the wall and it the acrylic plexiglass broke. They are well worth the money, but know where you want to place it !

We ordered these to display weekly schedules for our small group rooms. While the signs get the job done, they don't always feel secure. The plastic wraps over the top of the sign and down two inches at the top, and likewise wraps up two inches at the bottom on the back. You slide your paper from either side, however, the back of the paper is exposed. It's my thought that due to the weight of the plastic wrapping over the top and down those two inches, this makes the sign warp slightly (the plastic is not that rigid). We super glued our magnetic strips to the 2-inch sections on the top and bottom of the back; However, the signs warp slightly enough that the magnets don't firmly adhere to the doors unless you press very firmly, and we have had several pop off the doors due to the warping. They are not terrible, however, we've had luck with others we have since purchased that are 1) stronger, more rigid plastic, and 2) top loading so the plastic doesn't curve over the top and bottom and leave the back exposed.
