This flat iron was suggested to me by my hairdresser. It is great! Quick to heat, lightweight and easy to use. Multiple temperature settings with off/on switch as well. The cord is very long and there is a Velcro closure to help keep cord wound when not in use.

I have used my old HAI for over 20 years . My Hair Stylist actually ordered this product for me when she found out she was moving away and would not be able to do my hair anymore. She taught me how to use this tool and I have been very happy with the results. The only reason I had to buy a new one is because the ceramic coating started to peel and that’s very damaging to your hair. After 20 years I would start to peel too, especially under intense heat!!! With that said, I can only recommend this product. I only hope that the new one is as good as my old one!!!

I believe this is the same iron that my hair stylist used on my hair and was pleasantly surprised to see it for an affordable amount, unlike at the salon (I think it was selling for $180 there). The iron heats up quickly and I haven't had any issues with it yet, unlike some of the other users. The dial allows you to select the proper temperature to use for your hair type, which is convenient.It seems that allowing my hair to dry fully and then running it through the iron allows it to straighten without having the frizzy ends. So unlike some users that have used this product on wet hair, I get better results after drying my hair.I haven't plugged and unplugged the iron often and they send instructions to keep it plugged in if possible, using the on/off switch instead of fulling disconnecting from the plug to turn it off. I'm not sure if this is due to issues they've had with the plug/cord or for our convenience, although the latter doesn't seem likely; as you are instructed to unplug most electrical appliances that are used in the restroom, when not in use.The decision maker for me was that it was a decently priced model for a ceramic flat iron. I've read other flat iron complaints from melting ceramic plates, cords with shorts, to the ceramic plate falling off entirely from the iron. I figured that if I'm going to dish out $$$ for a flat iron, might as well get a good ceramic iron for a decent price considering all the different problems that can occur with them.

This is by far the best hair straightener. I had one before. It works perfectly fine for my hair. Would highly recommend this product to others.

I have had two previous hai flat irons. Both were great and last several years. I just bought my third and went to use it today. It’s terrible. The ceramic plates that normal would meet together to iron the hair do not touch, so some strands of hair are getting pinched and others aren’t even touching the heated ceramic iron. Would not recommend. It’s not even six months old. Wish I had used it right when I got it to notice this.

I was recommended to this flat iron by my hairdresser. I am happy with the performance when straightening my curly hair. My only complaint is I have to go fairly high on the heat setting to get the results I need.

This is my 3rd HAI Flatiron. What's the famous line, "If It ain't broke, don't fix it!" This line has never disappointed me. I used to order from a Salon site but Amazon was consistent in price and value.My last Iron lasted me 10 years....
