Worked great for us.
I only receive this a few days ago. I found the assembly to be very straightforward although I can see where someone who is shy about assembly might find the instructions a bit difficult to follow. It is made of particle board but the veneer seems to be of very good quality, as these things go. All you need to assemble it is a #2 phillips screwdriver and the small screwdriver that is included (to install the glass). Everything fit perfectly. AT least I wasn't bamboozled by the process. The unit is designed to hang from three (included) wall cleats. Once those are secured to the wall you just lift up the unit and hang it. I noticed that some reviews complained about aligning the cleats on the wall studs. The secret is to realize that you don't have to use the pre-drilled holes on the cleats. I just laid out the area where I wanted to hang the unit and drilled new holes where the studs were. It worked fine. I was able to overlap three wall studs. The worst case would be if you tried to align the unit where the two upright pieces in the center of the unit aligned with the studs. Then you will probably have to use some really good wall anchors to hang it up. Once everything is assembled and hung it looks great and the capacity is great. I recommend this to anyone who is old fashioned enough to still keep CDs or DVDs around.

Really really nice
This is really really nice. The overall finish and oak veneers are great. Probably the best self-assemble furniture I have ever bought. A small negative was that the screws attaching the wall mounting plates to the wall are too short and will need to be longer for most applications. Also, the alignment left to right when mounting to the wall mounting plates is unnecessarily tight (within 1/2") so make sure you are definitely not more than 16 inches on center when mounting the wall mounting plates.

Pretty
The cabinet it heavy, and obviously of durable quality. Be careful mounting, you definitely have to find studs and the instructions aren't great. You basically will end up mounting it several times before you get to fit on the hinge boards correctly. As far as the cabinet assembly itself, it takes a little time and try not to put the doors on backward. In addition, it's hard to use for DVDs because the notches for the shelves stop several inches below above the bottom of the cabinet, making rows of different heights.

Servicable
This is not a wood product-it is medium density fiber from Taiwan. It looks OK and is relatively easy to assemble-the design is simple enough. Fits my middle-income living room but it will move to a less conspicuous place in the future. You need a drill (not supplied) and you really do need one to drill out the holes for the rollers: if you use a screwdriver, you are likely to strip the low-quality screws and destroy the veneer finish. BTW: the rollers are a bit balky once installed-servicable, but not always smooth. Instructions are relatively clear. Diagrams are a bit small and some parts are difficult to distinguish from others. Hardware is cheap but servicable. I will buy another, but wish there was a domestically made real wood alternative-I think it would be worth the additional cost.

Spice cabinet
Looked for a spice cabinet for years--till it occurred to me to consider so-called "media cabinets." This holds regular sized bottles of spices three deep. I like mine alphabetized! Shorter bottles and fatter bottles make it easy to push one too close to the edge and it falls to the floor, because "three deep" is the maximum. :)This holds my herbs and spices, vinegars, oils, and extra vitamins. It's solidly built, comes very well protected in the packaging, is easy to assemble and can stand on the floor or hang on the wall. The middle door is in front of the other two. If the cabinet is not perfectly level, the doors will not stay completely closed, because they slide extremely easily. My favorite purchase of 2012!

Love it so much we got a second one
We love this sliding glass wall unit - keeps everything up and away from little hands and yet very easy to access for us. Great piece of furniture. Great quality. Fairly easy to put together. We liked our first one so much we purchased a second one for our growing movie collection.

Better than expected
More attractive than I expected. Wood grain finish is beautiful. Doors slide easily and the overall feel is solid luxury. Hangs on the wall easily if you can find wall studs where you need them. I had to destroy and replace some drywall to reinforce the area I wanted to hang it. Assembly instructions were good.

Matched perfectly with existing set of "Mission style" taller cabinets.
Perfect addition to a set of taller cases we already had. Same materials, easy to assemble. Looks wonderful. Perfect for placement adjacent to a sofa in a facing the hallway
