HMS Victory 14" - Wooden Tall Ship - Nautical Decoration - Model Tall Ship - T

I actually only expected good tall ship decoration and this ship model came better than expected.It is very nice model if you expect it as decoration targeting general people. The sails and rigging are more than enough to impress and as actual tall ship, it is majestic in appearance. And the cannons does not look bad.As for accuracy, don't put your hope too high. There are lots of things wrong, but it is not my expectation nor will general people see.Nonetheless for me there are some part which is much better if it is fixed:1. Anchor, which is too big and looks like a toy (as it is plasticky) compared to the rest of the ship2. The flag is waving on wrong direction (think about wind pushing the sail, where will the flag goes)3. The yellow color needs to be brighterRegardless, this model is not a toy.

This HMS Victory I shopped extensively, this model fit my specifications best; it looks great and arrived undamaged...from my bookcase it looks awesome...I am a RN fan and personally toured the HMS Victory in the Royal Navy Portsmouth Naval Yard, still in perfect working order after almost 280 years and beautiful when the Ships were Wood but the Men were Steel....an American who knows our roots....

Looks great in my study, was fully assembled in the box.a little straightening of the sails and looks great .

I wouldn't consider this a toy, it is a display piece. It is very well made and nice details.
