All metal and hangs the hose
We needed something to hang up a pocket hose that my girlfriend uses on the patio for her gardening. This hook is all metal and easily hung over the spigot. The hose we have has the rubber no kink connection at the spigot and you have to slide the hook to the side to get the hose under it and hung on the hook, but that's no big deal. Since it's metal and seems coated pretty well, it seems like it would last. The spigot we hang it on is a couple of feet off of the ground so there's no issue hanging the hose on it since it hangs down a bit. We have another spigot we tried it on, but it hung too low to work. This is going to work best for spigots a couple of feet off of the ground and with the flexible, pocket hose type hoses. It would probably only hold 25' or so of regular hose.

Economical, functional
We were looking for a low-profile way to store a hose on our deck. We didn't want to take up valuable floor space with a container. Let's face it: a bare pot on a plant-filled deck is only slightly better than a coiled hose. This little hook does the job at minimal cost. I wish it were a rust-proof metal rather than a painted finish, and I wish it were available as an add-on item through Amazon. I thought about it for awhile before ordering, because the shipping cost was more than the cost of the hook itself.

Compact...efficient...could be sturdier
No complaints, really. This does the job, and it's more attractive and less obtrusive than the larger styles of hose reels/hangers I've seen in the past. However, please note, this IS made of plastic, not metal (as I had assumed when buying it). After being fully loaded with a partially-filled hose line, it will sag and bend a little under the weight. I have yet to see how it holds up to a winter season. I think that if this same item were made in a powder-coated steel, for the same price, it would be ideal.

Its ok.
They show a spout in the photo that sticks out a lot. Ours seems to point down more. We also have that non-kink thick runner at the end of the hose which pretty much makes little room for the holder. You will not be able to fit anything but a small hose on this hanger. I'm not even sure a 25ft. hose will fit. We just switched our hose out for a 1/2 inch hose and that seems to fit ok. Maybe its my hose, maybe it me, but this product is just ok.

Works for me
I didn't want to drill any holes in my shingles. From past experience, I know the screws will work their way loose. And with a heavy hose, the shingles might crack. So I bought a light 50 foot hose. Each time I use the hose, I drain it.There seems to be no strain on the hanger or the spigot. It is plastic which means not rust.Since its easy to slip off the spigot, I'll store it (and the hose) indoors during the winter thereby preventing the freezing and thawing cycles. In time, I'll see how this works out.But in the meantime, this works for me.

Hose Hanger helps a lot
I really like the ease of hanging it on the spigot. Wish it was just an inch or so longer, as we often do the "hose on"/"hose off" dance this time of year with warm days but freezing nights, and it's a bit too close to make that easy

Nope. Still plastic.
I bought this because the price was right and in the description the seller says "Due to the unstable quality of plastic garden hose holder, we decided to stop selling plastic garden hose holder since July 20 2014 , Change to sell more durable sturdy steel garden hose holder." Its Nov 2014 and I just received a plastic holder. It looks very cheap and doesn't hold the hose I currently have in place. It will only handle a much smaller hose. I think mine is 75 ft. Overall, if you have a small hose, you could try this. Not sure how long its going to last.

Works for me
Even though this is plastic, it is very heavy and supports my medium weight hose. The only problem was it would not fit over my spigot. We had to remove the handle, put on the holder and screw the handle on. It works perfectly.
