Fisher-Price Bubble Guppies, Fin-Tastic Guitar

I bought this for my grand-daughters birthday next month....She will be a year old and she LOVES Bubble Guppies, I haven't given it to her yet, but I have no doubt that she will love it because it plays the theme song, which she gets so excited over.....She knows how to take her finger and push buttons, so it will be pretty easy for her... It also plays other songs, It seems very durable and well made, and I'm very happy with it.....:)

My two year old niece loves this toy. She's played with it nonstop since Christmas, she was one and a half then. It has a nice, varied selection of songs and sounds. She loves to sing and dance along.

I bought this as a gift for my 2-year old niece. I'm not sure if she's into Bubble Guppies or not, but this looked pretty cool and musical.The guitar is about 2-feet long. The perfect size for the Bubble Guppies crowd. I love that you can hold it like a guitar. It has 3 buttons with phrases and strings to strum for music. The "strings" are a 1-button unit that can be pushed up and down, rather than a strumming action.It's got some fun little songs and riffs. There's no volume control. It's loud enough for the little one to enjoy, but not so loud that I'd want to go all Pete Townshend on it. (That means smash it for those of you too young to remember The Who).I was a little disappointed that most of the ornamentation of this guitar is stickers rather than molding. In my experience, this is not the case with most Fisher Price toys. I am worried that the stickers will be come dirty or rub off with use.I think it's a good toy for the price. I expect it to last about a year or so, the stickers probably have a shorter life span. If I'd seen it in the store, I probably would have passed it up.

I purchased this for my two year old grandson who is crazy over the Bubble Guppies and really showed an interest in guitars. Most guitars I looked at were all the hum-drum, you-have-to-strum kind of guitars. Well, at two, he's not quite that musically inclined and most "toy" guitars were still a bit too big for him to hold like a guitar should be held. When I found this little tune player, I hit the jackpot. My little man absolutely loves the tunes that the guitar plays and I love that it holds up well as he puts it through swings it, tosses it around, drags it behind him, and rough houses with it. Yes, the tunes are limited to a select few, but they're the ones he recognizes and enjoys. So if it makes him happy, then I'm happy. I highly recommend this toy and if my grand-daughter likes the Guppies when she turns two, then I'll get her one too. (Great invention Fisher-Price!!)

The Bubble Guppies wasn't what I expected. I thought it would play more songs and light up more and it doesn't!!

The strings are a bit hard for my 2.5yr old to strum, but after repeatedly showing her how to do it I think she finally got it. I sometimes struggle to get it to move at first without hurting my finger. But, once you strum it plays different songs and my child excitedly yells out "I did it Mommy!" Oh the joys of accomplishing something that was difficult at first. Maybe this will get her interested in wanting to go to guitar lessons...so in my book it's a winner. Sturdy manufacture, small enough for a kid to comfortably hold and uses the bubble guppies songs..so she loves it. I highly recommend it.

I bought this as a gift for my nephews 2nd birthday. I'm not around to see how much it gets used, but he did freak out when he opened it and didn't want to put it down. I wish that there were more Bubble Guppies tunes on it, meaning the ones that are actually sung on the show and that children are familiar with. Most of the tunes were just instrumental and not show songs. I think there are only 4-5 songs with words and one of them is the Bubble Guppies theme, but mind you, it is not the whole song or even the majority of it. Overall, it's cute and it's a good pick for a Bubble Guppies addict like my little nephew.

I bought this for my one year old daughter to give to daddy for his birthday. He plays guitar, so I thought it would be cute that she bought him this "guitar". Of course, it turned out adorable....but on to the real reason why it's great. My daughter is such a Guppies fan and she loves to press all the buttons and "strum" this guitar. It plays music and some sound clips, but the best is the Bubble Guppies theme music. A few seconds of it has my daughter dancing each time. I could only see her using this toy more and more as she gets older, so I think it was a great purchase!
