Bliss in a Cup
I've found true serenity in a cup with Buddha Teas' Organic Passion Flower Tea. From the moment I opened the package, I was greeted by a tantalizing aroma that promised a delightful experience. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The taste is simply divine, with a delicate yet distinct flavor that's both soothing and satisfying. I love knowing that I'm sipping on something that's not only delicious but also packed with antioxidants and minerals for my health and wellbeing. Plus, the clean ingredients and caffeine-free formula make it perfect for any time of day. It's become a staple in my tea collection, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Headache reliever!!
My fiance wanted a natural anxiety reliever. Passion flower tea has been known for its natural anxiety relief so I bought this for her. She swore it wasn't gonna do anything until 15 minutes later she was knocked out for 3 hours. Sure not exactly anxiety relief but it relieved my headache for 3 hours so was very worth.

Effective tea, with a few caveats
I have tried several Passionflower teas to help with my chronic insomnia, and this is the one that has yielded the best results (along with my sleeping Rx). However, it comes with a couple caveats (which have been mentioned by many) you should be aware of: 1) Don't expect good taste/smell from it (personally, I combine it with lemongrass tea or lemon balm tea to make it more palatable. It completely ruins the lemongrass/lemon balm flavor, but it takes what it takes...) 2) In some (many) batches, the tea bag is "fused" with the tea bag envelope and tends to tear open (spilling all the tea inside) when you open the envelope. It takes a bit of practice to carefully open the envelope without destroying the tea bag in the process. Feasible but annoying. Something to keep in mind at this price range. I had to staple quite a few tea bags to be able to use them ;)

Will continue to purchase
I have never had passion flower tea before, so I really don’t have much to compare this to; however, I absolutely love the taste. As for the health benefits, I can’t say much on that yet as I only just started to drink this. It didn’t really make me relaxed and tired (but nothing really does, so that doesn’t say much). I enjoy this tea and I will keep buying it. I do add milk and honey to it.

Love it!
Alright, I’ll be honest, these might be an acquired taste for some people, myself included. However, I got these to help with unavoidable sources of anxiety. Think stressful situation, not constant worry. And they work! They work so well; I’ve bought multiple boxes of this tea and recommended it to everyone I know. This last box went to my parents. If you need something to take the edge off the stress, passionflower can be a good choice. Combined with some good counseling, life really feels more manageable. And so is the flavor of this tea once you get used to it. Definitely worth the money.

Pros and cons
I bought this tea for the medicinal properties, not the flavor. It tastes very earthy, and I can see why people in the other reviews complain about that if they were purchasing it for the taste and nothing else. It's not gross but it's not pleasant either. And no, passionflower and passion fruit are not the same thing, not even the same plant at all, so complaining it doesn't taste like passion fruit is just stupid. It's a flower tea that tastes like flowers that aren't particularly nice to the taste. Regarding the medicinal properties, specifically for lowering cortisol and improving sleep, it's just okay. I wear device every night to tell me about how I slept, and while this tea does knock me out and keep me out for most of the night, it isn't a more restful or higher quality sleep. It amps up my REM sleep so I'm having wild dreams, but almost no deep/slow wave sleep at all. I really need slow wave sleep, so this was a deal breaker for me after a few nights of use with the same result and feeling worse and worse every morning. For cortisol, I can't say for sure especially with just a few nights of use, but I didn't feel less stressed out, and my sleeping heart rate was elevated which is a sign of cortisol spiking at night, so I'm gonna go ahead and say that for me it didn't lower cortisol. Of course when it comes to herbs, people's bodies will react differently. Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for someone else. This is a great brand with many medicinal teas that I rely on and have great success with. Passionflower was a risk for me because of the way my body deals with GABA, and I knew that going in. I'll keep the tea around in case I need something to knock me out regardless of deep sleep, or to offer to someone else who I think could use it. Your results may vary.

One of my favorite relaxing teas
Update: The last batch I received did not taste the same and seems like it has gone bad. I contacted Amazon for a replacement and it says item is not eligible for refund or replacement. Worst customer service. This is why I always look to buy products from elsewhere before I resort to Amazon. Amazon has a horrible return policy. This stuff relaxes me and knocks me out. The trick is to steep for at least 15 minutes. But not longer than that. If you steep shorter than that, it will cause less of a sedative effect. If you use two tea bags after one tea bag stops working as well and steep them for 15 minutes the results are even better. You can build a tolerance to herbal teas just like anything else so stop for a while and cycle or use other herbal teas like chamomile and lemon balm in rotation. A lot of people will take herbal teas and say that they don't do nothing for them. Here's the thing, if you pop benzos and take all kinds of pharmaceutical drugs, drink caffeine and alcohol, no herbal teas will do nothing for you. Because you've already built a tolerance for all other kinds of sedatives and stimulants. In this case, your body will not respond to herbal teas. The type of body that herbal teas will respond for are healthy people who eat healthy and live a healthy lifestyle but have trouble relaxing and suffer from mild anxiety.
