Adventure Planet 16" Squid Plush Stuffed Animal Toy

We went to the Milwaukee (Wisconsin) Zoo and they had these at a special gift display outside their temporary Ray exhibit. My son wanted one, but I didn't want to carry it all day, so I told him we would get one at the gift shop at the main gate on our way out of the zoo-- OF COURSE, they had every other toy that was at the Ray gift shop except this squid. We tried to run through the zoo to the Ray shop, but they had already closed. He was heart broken and I was feeling terribly guilty. I sat in the hotel room that night with my daughter's ipod searching Amazon-- and I LOVE AMAZON-- because they sell EVERYTHING. There it was, the same squid (3 dollars cheaper, too!)-- and so I placed the order and it was at our door just a few days after we traveled back home at the end of the week. He was so surprised and really overjoyed! It's been 2 weeks and he carries "squidy" every where. The coloring and design on it are really superior to almost any other stuffed animal I've seen-- It's almost like it's airbrushed on there (but it is all soft) It's very detailed (though I think they have a mouth-area called a beak, and this one doesn't have a beak- but it has the right number of legs and 2 longer tentacles-- so YAY! I'm happy.) They eye is a hard plastic one, but very appropriate for the squid. The card that came with it (attached tag) had some brief squid info on it. We were both really happy with this purchase.

My 4 year old is obsessed with sea creatures right now. The other day we were at the aquarium and he saw a stuffed squid in the gift shop for $60. I told him if he could wait I could find him a cooler one online for cheaper. I'm SO glad we waited because this squid is WAY cooler than the one in the gift shop. He's named him "Fluffy" but I have no idea why because he's not a fuzzy or squishy stuffed animal. He seems to be well made and has held up so far. He looks very realistic but his eyes kind of creep me out because they look like they are following you, lol.

Best stuffed animal I have ever bought. My kid loves the Colossal Squid movie and we bought this for his birthday (7 months again) and this is one of two stuffed animals that he carries around everywhere. I am at the point where I might have two buy another one to switch out and wash. The stitches are very sturdy (as he has taken this stuffed animal to the zoo, park, and even the beach). We did end up cutting the tag off because it was a little on the big side, however my son said that squids don't have tags and he didn't want his too.

Bought this as an add on item to meet free shipping requirement and it turned out to be the star of the show! My 5 year old son loves this thing. It is well made, and beSt money I’ve spent on a stuffed animal. It goes with us everywhere. Great item and glad I bought it!

What do you say about a squid? Looks like one, with great stitching and a soft material that has a great squid pattern. I've seen lots of bad squid patterns, so take my word for it. Great gift or gag gift or even appropriate as a toy for children who don't mind tentacles.

Our 7 year old grandson requested an orange squid for Christmas - went on Amazon and low and behold, there it was! This is big enough enough to carry/put on bed, is very soft and colorful! He loved it! As stated on other reviews, it does not have a "beak" - he didn't notice!

Great colors, soft, nice stuffy. I only took one star off because for some reason they put the tag on the upper part of the animal instead of underneath. I was able to get most of the tag off but it still looks kinda odd.

My son has a recent fascination with the squid. This toy is well made and realistic enough for him to love it. Very good quality and good price.
