Just what I was looking for to teach a toddler about the earth. He loves it and is learning and asked to read it all the time.

My daughter is in first grade and this book is definitely a good start for first grade reading time.

I am earth home of intelligence being. I have gravity thus holding everything on earth. I rotate around sun! I rotate around my axis.

My son loves this book. We read it several times a week. He's 7 yes old.

Is the second book we buy of this series.The information is precise and easy for kids to understand.

My soon to be 3 year old loved getting this in his stocking! Cute little book

This book presents simple concepts of Earth as a planet in our solar system. Topics covered include gravity, rotation, seasons, the sun, the moon, comets and asteroids, weather, and the balance necessary for life to exist on earth. The authors stress the need for keeping the planet healthy and provide simple suggestions children can implement to keep the planet healthy.The illustrations are colorful and appealing for young readers. While this book does not cover the topic with much detail, it provides a nice overview that children in preschool and the primary grades can easily understand. Recommended as an introductory book to further exploration on space or earth day environmental topics.

This was a very informational book with a lot of topics to hit. I found it kind of longer for the younger kids. Also I aimed to read this book for Earth Day to Segway into recycling. This book was less of recycling and focused more on the Earth being a planet, in space, with other planets, in a solar system and so on and so forth so it was a little much for our topic. Still could be utilized for many other things!
