Convolutional Neural Networks in Python: Introduction to Convolutional Neural Networks Review: No python code, no substance - This 'book' reads like a standardized test where one must spot grammatical errors. Here is the first sentence as an example: "Deep learning is relatively newly introduced the field of broader machine learning methods and research that has been introduced mainly in order to move machine learning research closer to artificial intelligence or simply AI." Worse, the 'content' is completely vague with no supporting mathematics or python examples as the title implies. It's possible this book was written by a neural network analyzing Wikipedia pages. Don't be fooled by the large number of positive reviews or the low price tag - this 77 page blurb is a scam. Review: Two Stars - Very basic material that you could find on the web for free.

Please don't get fooled by the Title. There is not even one line of Python code.

It reads more like a report on what convolutional networks can do and a list of their parts. The writing is not the clearest. I doubt anyone could build a convolutional neural network just be reading this book. I did not see even one line of example code And the drawing on the cover has nothing to do with the text.

This book is littered with grammatical errors, making it very difficult to read. The very first sentence reads: " Deep learning is relatively newly introduced the field of broader machine learning methods and research that has been introduced mainly in order to move machine learning research closer to artificial intelligence or simply AI"... Was this book translated from another language? I would not recommend this book. Not only is it a very laborious read, but a terrible introduction to neural networks. The author repeats himself constantly, and seems to not have a real grasp on what neural networks are. Either that or he does not have a sufficient amount of the English language at his disposal to convey it. It is as if a child has attempted to summarise a Wikipedia article. There is not one line of Python syntax so I am not sure why that is included in the title. It is even lacking a simple spell check, to show this I include a few excerpts from the conclusion: "You have come to the end of this book, and I am confident that you have learned valuable information that will significantly improve your understanding od deep learning..." (yes, od) Anthony carries on to tell me: "This book, in general, can be of great for you since you are interested in a field of deep learning" (well thanks) I cannot convey how terribly written this book is. Not one paragraph is free of grammatical or spelling error, and each one is always monotonously similar and as lacking in substance as the last. I cannot believe I paid £10 for this...

I found nothing of merit in this book. It is superficial, grammatically poor and lacking any python examples. It fails to cite any of the existing literature on the subject.
