TRUGLO Tactical Hunting Shooting Versatile Lightweight Durable Aluminum Picatinny Riser Mount for Scopes & Dot Optics

If you have an AR 15 with a Standard A2 front sight post, and have mounted a scope on your rifle, you realize at lower magnification you can see a slight blur caused by the sight post. Higher magnification, this isn't so much of an issue. I decided to try these mounts to see if it would rectify the low magnification blur issue. These are about as low profile as you can get for a riser, the quality of the aluminum and the Parkerizing is excellent. These indeed do completely eliminate the blur cause by the front sight post.Another thing I wanted to accomplish with these risers are to make it easier to remove the scopes that I have mounted on my AR's that I have used the Nikon P-223 mounts. As you may or may not know, the P-223 mounts slide on to the upper receiver rail. It's not a huge hassle to remove the mount's screws and pull out the BCG and charging handle, but these eliminate the need to do this and are the perfect size to mount the individual P-223 mounts on, one mount per riser.Another bonus might be if you wanted to use the P-223 mounts, but have a rail that isn't completely mil spec, such as the M&P 15-22 polymer upper or an upper that has been colored, such as the M&P 15 300 in Realtree AGP camouflage, these will allow you to utilize the Nikon slip on mounts. Will be using these risers in the future, extremely pleased with them.

Works great for what I needed it for, which was to raise up my red dot just enough so I didn't have to squash my check down on the stock. I just have a cheap Truglo red dot on my Huldra MKIV Ar-15 style rifle with a flat top upper. I originally had a Korstog upper with an A2 style fixed iron sight and this riser juuuust brought the dot to the tippy top of the front sight post. So I would definitely recommend purchasing a 1 inch riser if used in conjunction with a fixed front sight.This is a solid product and an affordable price.

Seems like decent quality. Tightens up good. Finish matches my m&p15 pretty good. Smaller nuts with nylock would've looked nicer but it's worth the pricetag.

I need to raise the scope just enough to clear the stock flip-up rear sight so I could retain it on my rifle. Easy to install. Works great.

Exchanged the barska riser for this mount as the barska was machined improperly. What a huge quality difference (in favor of the truglo). Unlike the barska, the truglo has smooth edges, is machined properly and has nice thick black coated screws. (the barska screws are bare metal.) Also has a beefy clamping system. Perfect length for a scope mount as it is 5/8 inch longer than the outside length of my heavy duty one piece scope mount. everything sits flat, level and tight. Nothing more to say.It really can't be much better. Pay the 5 bucks or so more than the cheapest you can find and you'll get twice the quality.

Perfect. Raises the scope mount to the exact level I need. Parts are made with care. In no way do they look cheap. The allen screws don't stick out too far. I use them with Leupold offset mounts. They look better than the risers that are full 4inch in length, or the ones those offset risers. You also get the flexibility of mounting the scope exactly where you want it.They are a great deal, and well worth any risk of purchasing them.

This was just the right size i needed to raise my scope up just a bit more on my .17 savage. It allows one to add anything they want using picatinny rails. I recommend this to others who need a risor mount but aren't trying to spend an arm and a leg for one. Works just the same.

Did what I hoped it would do.I needed just a 'little' extra height, mounting a 50mm scope on an AR.I already had Leupold mounts, but they were slightly too short, and I just couldn't get the proper sight alignment.I didn't want to invest $60 for a taller set of the Leupold mounts, so I figured if this would give me the additional height,I could save some cash.My primary concern was if this setup would be solid.Well, boys and girls,....rock solid.It's almost like the risers and the mounts are one unit.I'll definitely keep these in mind for future scope replacements.

Good product but it's 5/8", not 1/2".

Great quality, but I returned them as the cross screws are .188`` diameter and the slots in my (TenPoint) rail are only .125`` wide.
