Good in theory
I wanted desperately to love this. I'm a nanny and was caring for a 1.5 yo, when his mom became pregnant with baby #2. I had been using a bag that was not made to be a diaper bag, but was a work bag that was half insulated lunch bag and half purse. Knowing that number 2 was on the way, I knew I needed a bigger bag, but wanted one with a large insulated section that could fit bottles for the little one, and lunch and sippy cup for the toddler. The closest I could find, at the time, was the Skip Hop Bento Bag, with its insulated bottle pockets and separate bottom zipper compartment that has a pull-out insulated bag that can just fit a toddler's lunch. The other day, I saw a baby gear website post about the new Equiptbaby complete and saw in it the perfect diaper bag I had been looking for, over a year ago! Unfortunately, I don't even like it, let alone love it, so I'm returning it. I hate when people post glowing reviews for things they've barely used, so I feel bad for giving something I JUST got in the mail a poor review, but I've been in the kid business for a long time and know what I don't like.Upon taking the bag out of the box, the first thing I notice is that the fabric quality looks nice and looks like it would hold up fairly well. The second thing I notice is that the flat-bottom design is not made out of the material I was expecting. From pictures, I expected it to be made out of a soft rubber-like material, kind of like those silicone bibs with the food-catching cup along the bottom. In actuality, it's made of hard plastic with a center hinge that they conveniently don't show in pictures. I was not able to get the hinge to stay completely flat when I sat it on the counter, and when I put the bag on my shoulder or cross-body, the hard plastic bottom stuck out from my body and did not fall comfortably against my hip.I then decided to transfer all of my diaper bag necessities, but had a difficult time finding a good position to sit it in, so that everything was easily accessible. I determined that the easiest way to get to every pocket was to have it hanging with the side clips let down. Ok, well, that was one of the benefits of the bag, so I went with it. The girls I now nanny for are both in size 2 diapers. I find that the diaper pockets are not deep enough. When size 2 diapers are pushed in all the way to the bottom, the tops of them reach the very top of the bag. Therefore, larger diapers and wipes cases will stick out of the top of the bag. The smaller pockets, meant for butt paste, lotion, etc. are also not deep enough. The standard diaper bag sized tube of butt paste sticks very high up and the pocket isn't snug enough to keep it in place, should the bag get dumped over somehow. The main area of the bag is spacious, but I don't usually use the open area for much in the way of necessities, unless I'm bringing something for babywearing along with me.The big thing, for me, was the "large" insulated pocket. It's a decent size to pack a toddler's lunch in, but does not lend itself well as a bottle space. One of my little ones uses the 8oz Dr. Brown's bottles and the other uses the 8oz Como Tomo bottles. The pocket is not deep enough to hold the Dr. Brown's bottle upright, so there's a leakage issue, and the pocket is only large enough to carry one Dr. Brown's (on its side) and one, maybe two, Como Tomos on their sides. There are no other bottle pockets in the bag, whether to hold baby, toddler, or my own drinks.Another important thing in a diaper bag is the "mommy pocket". It should be easily accessible, on the front, and large enough to hold wallet, keys, cell phone, maybe some makeup, and other things that typically get tossed into a purse. I also like mine to zip closed, for safety, but I knew that this bag didn't have that. There are two front pockets that have "mommy pocket" potential, but the larger of the two is the pocket that holds the changing pad. The smaller can hold my wallet, phone, and keys, but not much else. I slid my own water bottle in one side of the pocket that holds the changing pad. Not ideal, but ok.The bassinet is a cool feature and decently sized. I didn't know how to close it back up and the included paper said to find the instructional video on the website. I couldn't find it on the site, but found it with a quick search on YouTube. I was able to get it folded and the elastic on, but not nearly as well and it was when it arrived. The bassinet's home is the bottom of the main part of the bag, so I wouldn't travel with it all the time, but it's a nice option. In all, there's decent space in the bag, but nearly all of the pockets are just not deep enough. When it comes down to it, the pocket depth was not the deal-breaker, though. It was the hard plastic bottom that just does not carry well or comfortably. Even if the rest of the bag was perfect for me, I'd still be returning it because of the bottom.

Great Baby Shower Gift!
I purchased EquiptBaby for a baby shower. The new mother to be loved the diaper bag design and the bassinet! She liked how easy the bassinet opened, the easy viewing to baby through mesh screens and how she felt baby would rest safe and securely. As well she commented by having the baby resting in bassinet, people could visit but unwelcome touching would be avoided. She closed up the bassinet easily. In addition, she made comments on how organized she felt this bag would keep her. At the shower she was gifted a stroller. The adjustable shoulder straps of the diaper bag allowed for the bag to go over the stroller handle bars. In my opinion this is a very well thought through product and made for a great baby shower gift!

Great baby shower gift!
Gave this as a gift to a dear friend at her baby shower. She and her guests were all very impressed with the bag and bassinet! My friend actually said that they hadn't selected a diaper bag yet, because they couldn't find one that was neutral. Needless to say, she loved the black, and the sleek design.

Got both of these as a gift and absolutely love them! The diaper bag has so much space ...
Got both of these as a gift and absolutely love them! The diaper bag has so much space to put everything in a separate pouch and still remain light weight. It never tilts over and it slightly opens up when you set it down for easy access. Love love love it.The portable bassinet has come in handy so many times. We like to do a lot of out door activities like camping, ball games, picnics, etc. This is so easy to bring and put out anywhere! I highly recommend this for all active parents!

Equiptbaby
I love this bag, purchased it for my daughter in law who is expecting baby # 2. She is in the Air Force and can't wait to use the bassinet on thier many travels, from plane trips to Grandmas! They have a 4 yr old and they have aleready been using the bag for all of their outdoor activities, beach, soccor. t-ball games. She loves the idea of being able to set it down without having to worry about the bottom getting wet, and also being able to wipe it off if need be. Wish I had something like this when I was raising my 5 children!!

Great gift for the mom to be!
What a great necessity for moms to have. Your able to carry the diaper bag, use the changing pad and let your baby sleep or lay comfortably in the portable bassinet. It's a complete set! One of reasons that I admire this bag is the generous size and convenience of carrying everything together. Makes it so much easier for traveling and just to easy to store the accessories when not in use. This would be the ideal gift for any new mom to have. Great for a baby shower gift too!
