I am someone who has spent a lot of money on my skin over the years and have tried many things. So I know what is good or not. I used to get micro needles done professionally and would pay 600 for 3 sessions. Imagine my surprise when I found out you can do them at home. This kit is amazing. It does exactly the same as the professional but at home and at an amazing price. It is easy to use, sturdy and has great results. It doesn't hurt that much but I recommend using some numbing cream if you want to go deep (which is good for results). You can also apply some hyaluronic acid or vitamin C over the area. I am so happy to report that this product is absolutely amazing.I have only ever dermarolled in the past and it was a bit annoying having to keep buying different sized rollers, the lengthy cleaning process etc.So I decided to purchase this pen.I'm not going to lie, I was nervous it was going to be one of those vibrating only pens, but it isn't!I downloaded an App to slow down videos and it definitely showed the needles going in and out. Not side to side.The pen feels professional, easy to hold and use.You select the speed and depth according to the area to treat, which means you don't need to buy lots of different rollers.Use: I scrubbed my hands and even cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and wiped my face with it too. Then once it dried, I put on hyaluronic acid (by the Inkey List) and followed a video on what to do and it was easy enough to achieve.Redness did occur, but that was ok. I put on more hyaluronic acid afterwards and after a couple of hours, some Simple 12hr moisturiser.Today the redness has gone down a lot and my skin definitely looks more plumped!Use every 4-6 weeks to see desired results :)So happy I went for this! It is really great!

I have regular facials and my beautician introduced these and the results are amazing. I bought to try at home (pays for itself in no time compared to salon price). Its trial and error at home to get the correct needle length setting as it is easy to damage your skin if needle is too long and at high speed. Start slow and increase the needle length/speed until it feels comfortable. Use a good serum that will penetrate the skin.

When my package arrived, I immediately noticed the box was vibrating because the pen had turned on during shipping. Even worse, the pen randomly turns on by itself, and I have to manually switch it off. This is extremely concerning, especially for a device meant to be used on the face. The quality feels very poor, and it seems to have a serious defect. I don’t feel safe using it and definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

I was looking at the brand 'Dr Pen' which charges double for one of their products. I decided to give this a go as for the price I thought what do I have to loose?The device is made well and is sturdy. I've only used it twice but the second session I can already see a reduction in my smile line's and 11 lines. It doesn't hurt much personally apart from on my forehead, where it's more boney. I use the 0.75mm thickness and this has been enough to start seeing results already.Comes with lots of new needles which should last a good few months, overall a brilliant product.

I gave this a 3* because you get what you pay for. It’s ok if you really don’t care what your buying and don’t have much money, but it’s also a false economy as this is such an inferior product to the actual Dr Pens (A6 or X5)I bought this to save £50 as the Dr Pens were around £100+, but ended up returning it the same day as when I opened it up, it just looked and felt quite cheap in my hands.The handtool is cheap looking and feeling and it makes me question if the depths are accurate when turning the dial as this is quite important when inserting needles into your face!Ok if you want a cheap piece of kit, but I would buy something better if I were you.I should add this is NOT sponsored (although it sounds like it haha) by Dr Pen - I wish I was, but I’m not.He doesn’t even know I exist!! ;)
