I was gifted this knife and it grew on me very quickly. It very closely resembles the Gerber Freeman Guide folder but much smaller. And that is my main draw to it. Really like that line of knives.Its sturdy with a solid lock up.The blade slides out smooth but with slight effort on the thumb stud.Jimping on the knife is very nice and its useful.8Cr13MoV steel is quite adequate for what you will use this knife for.Came very sharp. Not hair popping but did cut hair, and sliced through paper very smoothly.Though a small knife, I can just get a comfy grip on it with all 4 fingers. I wear a lg>xlg glove.No real negatives at this point. I can be picky and say it weighs a bit more than other knives of it's size but that's not really a negative. Oh, and there is no pocket clip... also not a negative for me with this style of knife.I'm very satified with it overall.

I've lost more pocket knives than I care to remember.I picked this knife because of its low price, and was very amazed when it arrived and I unpacked it.It is definitely very heavy duty, with a beautiful highly sharp blade. It is light weight though.The handle mine came with is black and looks like it will take a lot of beating.It opens and closes very smoothly, and the blade locks in place very nicely and snugly.If I were to keep tradition up and loose this beauty, I would without a doubt buy another.
