Gorgeous colour.
Leaves my hair beautifully soft and glossy. Lovely copper colour. Colour builds the more you use. Very natural looking.

Intensifies faded colour
I was slightly dismayed to see the product packaging suggests using an additional product “bonditioner” prior to use. Rather than buy extra products I used my normal conditioner prior to using the colourwash and this seemed to work well. The faded colour has improved.

COGNAC: for natural redheads, who are growing gray
I am a natural redhead with blue eyes. Now I know I’m only talking to about 1% of the entire world population, but if this is you, read on! When I turned 40 my hair started to fade to what I can only describe as “meh”. People started calling me a blonde! Having been tortured my entire life for having carrot ginger hair, I righteously claimed my redheadedness, and will identify as a redhead until the day I die. People persisted with their incorrect identification, and so I was forced to dye my hair. But my God, I could not keep up with the maintenance! So I resigned myself to a life as a blonde with platinum highlights (I know, poor me). Then my stylist suggested that I try a color depositing shampoo. I tried the Tourmaline color because that was the closest to my natural color, however, the red made my platinum highlights look pink. Then we tried the Cognac, which is just supposed to bring out the golden in your hair. It worked! It made my highlights blonde instead of pink and brings out a lot of the ginger in my hair. I’ve only used it twice, so I don’t know how the buildup will look but I’m very happy so far.

Vibrant Color After One Wash
I purchased this after reading reviews and looking for a color depositing shampoo that actually worked. After one wash my hair looked like I had just gone to the salon for a touch up. The first picture is my hair before applying the shampoo and the second picture is after one wash. I love the results and will definitely be using this in between salon appointments. I applied to wet hair, let sit for 10 minutes and then rinsed. It did leave my hair feeling a bit dry but I applied a deep conditioning treatment and will not be using it every time I wash my hair.
