Awesome Guitar
In my honest opinion, this guitar is simply amazing.I love the way the neck feels and the appearance of the black hardware.I ordered what I thought would be a rosewood fingerboard but they sent me a maple fingerboard.I also ordered satin black and recieved gloss black finish. If I did not like the guitar so much I would have requested a replacement. The reputation of a double locking tremolo would intimidate a person who never encountered it before but the Floyd Rose has been around and used pretty consistently for years. You definitely must approach tuning a little differently but this guitar does stay in tune.It arrived in tune actually. The pickups seem to have a well balanced sound and the pickup switch will give you neck, bridge and both.I really like the smaller size body. The guitar is not really light but when compared to other guitars it is not really heavy in my opinion.

Great Guitar, but pickups are just Ok
Really happy with this guitar. I swapped out the pickups with dimarzio tone zone bridge and air norton neck, which I had laying around. The stock pickups are ok, but the dimarzio's really sound better overall. I also swapped out the pots, caps, and jack. The floating bridge is stamped "Jackson", so I'm not sure where it actually came from, but it seems to be good quality with no problem keeping the guitar in tune. The neck and fret work is where this guitar really shines. The fret ends are really well done. The action is low and a lot of fun to play. The satin black body is pretty cool also, and the finish seems to be pretty durable.

It's Really Hit-And-Miss With The Inexpensive Jacksons
If you get a good one, these guitars are an absolutely insane value. They are lightweight, the action is low, the pickups are outstanding, and the overall package is unlike anything else in guitars for this price. But if you get a bad one, you can expect fit and finish issues, little tool marks, scrapes, and dings. I've tried to buy three Jackson guitars total and had to send back two. With a free return policy, it's worth taking the gamble, but just be aware of the risk (like if you're ordering one for a gift and want it to be perfect on a specific date).

I love the looks
I am 40 years old, and never played the guitar... started picking up a few youtube lessons, and using this Jackson to go along with it. I love the looks, the feel, and the sound. Granted, I have 0 experience to compare with other guitars, but I am happy with what I have!

... playing thrash for 15 years - this guitar plays wonderfully. 200 bucks
I have been playing thrash for 15 years - this guitar plays wonderfully. 200 bucks? Yep - steal. Drop a performance pickup in the neck and a tremsetter in the back cav and you have a 900 dollar Axe for about 4.Fantastic
