Roden 620 Model Kit Cessna O 2 A Skymaster

No worries. Got here quickly and in one piece, no complaints. Looks like a well produced kit. No many kits of this plane in any scale let alone 1/32.

The Cessna 337 O-2 is one of my favorite acft and I couldn't wait to tuck in to this 1/32 Roden O-2. One of my main past time is model building and has been for 20 or so years and I'm quite skilled. Over that time I've bought some kits that were poor in quality but this Roden kit is the worst that I can remember. This kit's engineering was worse than Kityy Hawks' worst. Much of the plastic surface was very pebbled, panel line over scale and soft, there were exactly 3 alignment pins on the entire thing and there was so much flash and mold shift that it was impossible to tell where a given part stopped and the bits to trim away started. The decals were simply terrible. Don't get me started on the clear parts. At this point there's more putty than plastic and it's on the shelf of doom. In short the kit's not worth$5 let alone $70.

The large scale is excellent, and I am building it to give AS A GIFT to a VIETNAM WAR PILOT FRIEND WHO FLEW THE O-2 IN THE WAR!

When I got the kit it was well detailed and was excited to start it, how ever after I started working on it I realized the molds were bad and had a lot of filling needed in areas where plastic was actually missing. I started it about a week ago and last night was about to start putting clear parts on and realized I was missing all clear parts. I have not lost them because it has not been moved from the location I work on it at, it just clearly never came with the parts.Would love to know how I could get replacement parts to finish my $60 kit please.Thank you
