Christopher Knight Home Evelyn Mid Century Modern Fabric Arm Chair, Beige & Walnut

I bought several other brand chairs and returned all of them. But this one was a winner!I bought the linen colored chair for my bedroom. The size and color were spot-on! Most importantly it’s solid, easy to put together and very comfortable for its style! I use it to watch TV, read and work in, and after sitting in it for several hours at a time, I can easily say it’s perfect! I have had this one for three months and we are looking to buy a second!I hope this helps someone, you won’t regret it!

The chair is good even when excluding the price. It becomes a better deal when adding the low cost (bought it at a discount)The cloth material feels good, has not worn out after 3 months. The design is simple which I prefer.Does not feel like cheap quality at all. The chair is sturdy and built with good quality. Super easy to assemble as well. Properly took me 10 minsMY only complain is the back rest is not tall enough to support your neck/head. Im 5’10 and my shoulders align directly with the top of the chair when sitting.But overall a good chair

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW:I never heard from either Amazon nor the seller of these Christopher Knight MCM style chairs regarding an adjustment or refund for the extra money I paid to have them delivered and actually moved inside my house (on the date they specified) instead of just leaving them on my porch. I mentioned this in the my original review (see below). I guess I'll just have to write that off. I'm still glad to have ordered these and they look nice.======================================ORIGINAL REVIEW:This is the first time I've ordered furniture online based on just the photos, but taking into consideration many customer reviews for these chairs as well as other chairs s of similar style and color, I decided to take a chance. I shopped several brick and mortar stores as well, and other websites with similar "MCM styles" and these chairs were exactly the look and vibe I was looking for. I really like them and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. Once I had the first one assembled, the 2nd one was a breeze. Because the beige is a light color, I did place a blanket on the floor to keep them clean. They are very comfortable even if they are more firm than other chairs which I was able to physically test in stores, but the pricing was so much better and they look amazing in my space! Personally, I prefer the firmer feel to one that is too squishy. I also purchased the 5-year indoor furniture accident plan for them (This again was because it's my first time buying furniture online.)NOW THE REASON FOR THE THE GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS: I'm very impressed with how fast these chairs were delivered, however right now, I'm only giving 4-stars because I also paid extra money to have them delivered to and brought into my house to any room I requested. My Amazon confirmation and tracking information told me they would be delivered Monday,10/18/2021, which was fine and that's what I planned for, however they were actually delivered FRIDAY, 10/15/2021. Because I had expected them 3 days later, I wasn't available when they actually arrived, so they were both dropped off on my front porch. Fortunately, the boxes were not too heavy I was able to move each of them into my living room by myself. For this reason, I'm not giving 4 stars, but would update and upgrade my review if Amazon or the seller credits back the additional special fee to my account. I will update this review in the future, if this happens. But I have to say, after just a couple of days admiring them in my living room, I am very pleased that I took a chance and would consider ordering from this vendor through Amazon again in the future.

We are SO happy with these chairs!! We ordered two, and are super impressed with how easy they were to put together, how sturdy they are, great back support, perfect size and color! We got them on sale and would actually pay full price now that we know how sturdy and beautiful they are in person!!(Our cat even claimed it as his own asap!!)

We bought two. These are nice, well made chairs. They are very good for the price, which is what we wanted. The styling is perfect for our room (mid-century). The fabric is comfortable. They look nice sitting next to each other, or apart as accent chairs. They are easy to assemble, were packed well, and seem sturdy. The size is perfect, not too large, which was also what we wanted. The legs have the hard plastic inserts on the bottom to protect our wood floors. The seat is constructed well, and it looks like it will last for years.

The chair came in one large box but was able to move it myself. Came well packaged. The legs and sides of the back rest were inside the zip compartment under the chair and plainly marked by a red tie letting you know where to find them. Instructions were easy to understand. I (mid 40’s female) was able to put it together myself in 15 minutes with no problem.The chair itself is a bit stiff but it’s not uncomfortable. Has room to snuggle up and read a book. Color is nice. Fabric is sturdy but soft.I left the cat in the picture so you can judge the size a bit better. I only bought one in case I didn’t like it but I will now get a second one to go with it. Lovely chair. Go for it :)

Using this chair in a small studio apartment. Firm, not cushy but it does what I need. Just a few things to mention. It's easy to assemble. However, mine won't assemble properly, as the right side is off. The last piece won't fully push down into place so if I were to try and slide the chair by the back, that piece easily pops off. Wanted to love it because it looks cute in the space but definitely not a highly recommend.

Originally, I set this chair in my bedroom, but it now sets in my family room. A casual knitted blanket, homey pillow, and footrest complete the look.
