It was the product we needed and in use right now.

What can I say -- it's a phone wiring junction box and seems good quality for that purpose. Yes, the wall attachment screw hole perimeters protrude from the rear, but a piece of a wood paint stick (free from my local home improvement store) glued on or screwed to the wall first leveled it fit perfectly flat, so that didn't bother me. Color is a standard ugly beige (a darker tan than I thought the product imaged showed). The wiring color guide inside is a stick-on label that didn't seem a perfect fit (as you can see in the photo if you look closely) and wasn't placed perfectly level, but it's good enough. Overall, couldn't be significantly better (although I'd ideally have preferred lighter color, color guide label that also shows CAT3 color stripe alternative, and capacity for 6 ports under 3 screws per wire color instead of just 4 under 2). BTW, I had to cut or drill open the notches for your wiring to get into the box, but that's what I'd expect of any product like this.

Works quite well for splicing phone extension wiring. No wire stripping required. Absolutely recommended for the "do- it your selfer."

good not great! my only problem is that when you mount these they do NOT sit flush.. the screw holes protrude from the rear and make the junction block sit at an angle.

Good product as advertised. Easy to set up and use.
