Better than expected
I have been searching for a shower set for my master bathroom. All the brands looks so nice in the pictures and I have no idea where to start. I went to a local showroom and the sales person put together a list of items based on my need. The brand quoted was Hansgrohe and I got a list of all the parts I need to complete the shower system, and it was super expensive. It was around $1400 for thermostatic system with rainshower head and a hand-held shower.I did more researches on Amazon and found out that Amazon is a lot cheaper but also learned that majority of the parts are made out of plastic coated with chrome, except the handles and valves (i.e. their thermostatic trim back plate, the largest part of the trim, is made out of plastic). That changed my search to other brands as I don't think it's right to cheap out on the parts when i have to spend $1000+I found Danze brand on Amazon and like the style a lot. I am not sure how the parts for this brand work (every brand is different in grouping a system) and I spent 1 week to study their materials and how the valves work. Here is the list for my set and hopefully it would help others to set up theirs:- D560144T (thermostatic trim, 2 controls for temp and volume)- D151000BT (thermostatic valve, to work behind D560144T)- D560944T (diverter trim, to divert between rain shower & hand-held shower)-> A, B, or A+B- D130000BT (diverter valve, to work behind D560944T)- D460059 (rain shower head)- D481144 (15" rain shower bar)- D469058 (wall outlet for shower hose)- D465007 (hand-held shower & bar)All these 8 items total to be around $725-------------I just received all of these components today and I was pleasantly surprised that 99% of the parts are made out of metals and they feel very sturdy and heavy. The only areas that I see plastic are 1) the small area where the hand-held shower nozzle is at and 2) the little round end cap on the hand-held shower. All the wall plate are made out of metal and the finish is fantastic.Right before I placed the order, I was debating if I should add 4 body sprays. Since I will be almost impossible to add them later (different valves are used, so I would have to take out the whole thing if I were to add the sprays later), I debated for 1 day and decided to go with no spray (about $350 difference). For those of you interested in sprays, here is the list, from my research: (rain shower + hand-held + sprays)- D562044T (thermostatic trim, single control)- D155000BT (thermostatic valve)- D560944T (volume control trim, need 3 total, 1 for each component)- D135300BT (volume control valve, need 3 total)- D460244 (body spray, quantity depending on personal preference)- shower head, hand-held, outlet and arm are the sameIn this config, there will be 4 trims total and volume for each component can be controlled individually (A, B, C, A+B, A+C, B+C or A+B+C)I hope this will help those that are choosing a shower system. I will update actual using experience and pictures when my construction is completed in couple weeks.

What a sharp looking hand shower.
I was building a new bathroom and this shower fixture was what I had been looking for. Its style matches the room's motif and it draws favorable comments as we show off our remodeling to friends. It has only a single function spray which is a gentle flow, No shower massage here but both my wife an I find it enjoyable. Installation was straight forward with good instructions. Use two hands the first few times you adjust the height. If not, releasing the tension lever will let it fall quickly. The body is a smooth chrome sleeve that worked its way loose. A simple twist in the right direction tightens it. With a 50/50 chance I turned it the wrong way and decided that wasn't the cure. I gave up since the shower still worked. But it was difficult to handle for a few days until I thought to go the other direction. All is well and it hasn't come loose again. I would certainly purchase another. This was inexpensive, we like it and it has the appearance of a designer unit that would cost 5 or 6 times more. We are very pleased.

Cool shower handle
Look nice, except the locking mechanism does not lock the hose very well. If you applies a bit pressure, the whole unit would move up or down the rail (or the tube is more of a proper word.) Also, the pressure seems weak and I a not sure if there is water-saving filter that would cause it, because I had pretty strong pressure from the rain shower head. When I used the hand shower, of course I locked the shower head, but the pressure is still minimal. I will check and see if in fact a water-saving filter is there. If it is, will remove it to see if the pressure would improve!

It does not look like a packaging issue
This product has some serious quality issues. The hand bar looks solid and well designed, but the hand shower head came in with its inner plastic tube broken at its base cap. I thought that I was just unlucky getting a lemon, so I asked for a replacement. Lo and behold, the replacement arrived with exactly the same issue - a broken shower head with its parts loosen in the box. It does not look like a packaging issue, as the boxes have no signs of damage. One has to conclude the plastic tube in the shower head is too bristle, and they didn't assemble the shower head tightly enough so any pressure on its original box could cause the shower head parts to separate and the inner plastic tube to snap. The hose is also unfortunate in that while it is supposed to be brushed nickle, it looks more like chrome with only the two end connectors being brushed nickle.I'd like to keep the bar but really disappointed at the broken shower head. I can't believe Danze doesn't realize there is a quality issue here.

Looks great but has cheap plastic parts
Bought this about two years ago. It looks great and had been working well, until this week when it snapped in half...revealing a cheap looking plastic inner part (see pics). I came to Amazon to see the warranty info and was surprised to see other reviews all mentioning the same exact problem. This is unacceptable for a high-end brand like Danze. I will be contacting them under the lifetime warranty to receive a replacement.

Lovely
I chose this head shower only for the design since I was instally another one on the ceiling. Once installed I was surprised of how well it works, lots of water and when I turn both the ceiling and the stick it is superb! Love the feeling of water coming from the ceiling and the side, it gives me the sense of having some of those expensive jet fawcets without the expensive tag.

great quality
i looked on amamzon because none of the big hardware stores in my area carry many hand shower/rail combos. not only was this more to my tastes it is built better than what lowes and home depot where selling for three times the price. i'm very pleased and plan to shop for danze faucets to match.
