The Donkey Egg

This is a wonderful story for children . Bought this book for friends granddaughter for her fifth birthday but my granddaughter who is 10 loved reading the story. The illustrations are excellent. Janet Stevens is one of my favorite authors when it comes to children stories. This book is also full of facts and it’s just a fun story to read! The book Tops and Bottoms is also a wonderful story!

This book is such a joy to read with my kids and a perfect sequel to Tops and Bottoms. We love Janet Stevens so I didn't even read this book before purchasing this book and I'm so glad I didn't! I read it the first time with my kids and we all had a good laugh. It's now a favorite in our house.

I wasn't sure about this book when I first borrowed it from the library, but after reading it to my granddaughter, we both thought it was funny and had a good laugh! I then had to read it again at least 10 more times! The pictures are well done and it has a good story line. I have now purchased 3 of them, one for each of my grandchildren! I would definitely recommend this book to add to your personal library!

Great book

This is a great read-aloud children's story book. It has a diferent flavour than the author's other book, Tops and Bottoms, but great nonetheless.

Purchased the book for grandchildren, as we have donkeys at the farm. Very cute story and beautiful pictures
