Faulty design: the lid does not properly latch and is flimsy. It does not open at the hinge when tilted to pour water, resulting in many spills. The filter itself seemed decent at first, but after just 20 uses, it stopped working and when it did, it dribbled.

This is a 3rd review on my original CPAP distiller. This distiller was probably one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have changed filters per manufacturers recommendation and kept my distiller clean and after a little over a year it is still working just great. I can say this about the negative reviews.. I don't know your tap water quality and not sure if that is an issue, but if everyone is using this cpap pitcher distiller correctly and per the manufacturers instructions, this thing will work forever I guess. I did have an issue getting filters for a while until I googled them and found a site that sells them, since I can't seem to get them on Amazon any longer. I bought a big supply of the filters from the other site and I'm set for a long time. I am still loving my CPAP water distiller.

I've been using this product for about a week to filter water for my humidifier. Previously my humidifier was creating a white, chalky film all over everything in my apartment due to the high mineral content in the water. Even after filtering the water twice, once through a Brita filter and then a second time through this filter, I'm still getting a slight film on things. However, it is dramatically less than it had been before. I wish the film would be gone completely, but short of buying an expensive water distiller, this will do.

I love this gadget! I feel like I sleep better using this water than prepackaged jugs I was using. I don't have to remember to buy jugs, haul them into the house or store them. I fill one plastic jug, keep it in the fridge and always have it available. I've actually gifted one to a friend and referred it to others. THANK YOU!!!

I received this product, and nowhere on the box does it mention ANYTHING about making distilled water. It mentions several times that it makes water "enhanced with alkaline & minerals", which you DEFINITELY do not want to put in a CPAP machine. I am returning this item unopened as it will not suit my needs.Additionally, Amazon should check the descriptions that sellers post about their items. This item expressly said in its description on the site that it will produce water for use in a CPAP. This device will not produce that kind of water.

I live in a super dry place with extremely hard water (phoenix). If I fill my humidifier with tap water, white mineral deposits end up all over my room. These are supposedly bad for your humidifier and your health, and it's also just plain super annoying. It still happens (to a slightly lesser degree) with water through a drink purifier.This water filtering system works like a charm to clear it up. It's the first solution I've found that doesn't require me to lug and store gallons and gallons of distilled water in my house.
