1 Review: Must have for turkey stuffing - The absolute best hands down poultry seasoning for any stuffing mix for pork or poultry. I melt a stick of butter, add chopped onions and celery and saute until veggies are soft. Trim a medium loaf of white bread of crusts, cut into cubes and add to a medium bowl. Sprinkle with Bells, mixing until the bread is a light olive drab, then mix in the butter mixture. Thats it. I put my stuffing in the bird. Always have. Always will. If using a meat thermometer at track your bird, place it in the middle of the stuffing. Perfect every time. Review: It tastes great! ❤️ - This is a great seasoning for our Thanksgiving Turkey! Love that it comes salt free! One box last a long time. I gave one box to my Daughter, because she was always borrowing mine!

Best poultry seasoning ever/worst container ever
The seasoning itself is great- I make fake chicken meat dishes (using various pea or soy chunks/strips etc.) and it makes the dish taste LIKE CHICKEN. I use it in vegetable soups and stews etc- because it has most of the herbs I'd use anyway. Like so many other reviewers- I'd trade the nostalgia of the box with the turkey on it (that my mom used 60 years ago) for something that could actually hold the fine powder inside. I can pretty much guarantee one of the three boxes, tho' wrapped in a plastic bag to be boxed) will pouf out some seasoning all over the inside of the bag. And I immediately (with a small funnel) had to put them all in a glass jar for further use and storage. Regardless, I really like the herb combo and think it's worth the slight bit of extra work.

A tradition, unchanged in over 150 years for a reason.
Wonderful blend of herbs specifically for turkey. My grandmother used it. My mother used it. I use it and this past Thanksgiving, my son used it. His sister-in law and her husband said it was the best turkey they've ever had.

That Amazon offers it
I have used this product forever, but when the “turkey” season is over many stores don’t carry it. This seems kind of ridiculous to me as you can buy turkey all the time. I use it in the chicken soup I make my sister almost every week. It’s a great value, the seasonings are fresh and it makes the soup smell and taste so delicious.

Old Fashioned Seasoning
It is seldom that you see a product that is still around today from 1867. My grandmother turned me on to this product although I ignored it in the back of my cupboard for a very long time. I wish I hadn't because it is very good. It contains no salt so you do still need to season your dish. It contains among other things marjoram which until I looked it up had no idea is a cousin of oregano (which it also contains). It tastes something like how you might imagine Thanksgiving stuffing tastes or maybe smells or maybe both. Anyway it claims to be poultry seasoning which I do use it for but I am far more likely to put it on fried eggs. Putting it on eggs I found online and an idea not original to me.

Delicious, but I wish they would wrap the boxes tightly again.
I have been using this for years and it is the best Thanksgiving seasoning you can buy. That said, whenever I have purchased this from Bells directly, the little boxes are sealed together in thin plastic wrap. This is because the company knows the product leaks out of the cardboard box. This has always been fine. However, these arrived loose in a bubble wrap bag, and a lot of the seasoning was at the bottom of that bag because they were not properly sealed. Very disappointing. Also, they have different expiration dates on them.
