I have a spinal injury that makes caring for my hair extremely hard. Unfortunately that means sometimes my hair gets extremely tangled, darn near matted sometimes, and it's hard to work through.This really needs to be used in conjunction with a comb or paddle brush. It will detangle the bulk. If your hair is super tangled this process will take a lot of time as the bristles bend to avoid breaking the hair whereas other brushes that lack the flexibility will stay in the tangle and keep pulling causing pain and breakage but does get the job done faster and gets deeper to the scalp.

Learned about this brush from a natural hair video, and as a person with 4c low-porosity hair, it WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I'm also extremely tender headed, and brushes like tangle-teezer or wet brush I've never had much luck with. I thought this brush was also fake at first because the holes on the inside are triangular instead of circular like in the picture, but it still works great. Even if the bristles especially on the bottom get bent over time, it still works very well in detangling my hair on the regular or on wash day.Just as with any brush, be gentle with it and brush both horizontally and vertically when detangling (and try to finger detangle first and handle smaller sections). I had the wash day of my dreams with this.

Nice soft brush for little ones who have thick or curly heads. Works great with a detangling spray. Just don't forget to start at the ends!

I was shocked! It really detangled my hair with a breeze. I have 3c thick, long, course hair. I ordered another one for my daughter in love who has long and thick 4c hair. It worked the same for her.

The brush was shipped unboxed and unprotected in a thin bubble wrap envelope so bristles were bent, and I don’t trust that it is not a dup. In fact I believe it is a dup because the real kinder curls brush has several indentations on the brush handle hole. $20 for cheap, flimsy plastic is a poor value. Returning.

The media could not be loaded. This is the best detangle brush EVER! I brushed my hair after washing in under I minute and nothing was in the brush! I call this a miracle brush!

I have 4C hair and this is the best detangler I have ever tried. I used it when distributing the conditioner thru my hair and later when I apply leave in conditioner. I have no pain and the brush goes thru my hair with ease. My only negative would be is I wish the brush and handle were both a little larger.

I honestly don’t see any better results than with a wide tooth comb. So I say which ever you prefer is what you should choose.
