Q: I would like to put a patch on the front of a leather like Bible. Would this glue be ideal? I need something that will hold for a life time.

This is leather glue and normally used to glue leather together before you stitch it. If it's leather on leather then this is some awesome glue. You need to make sure the surface is scuffed up. Even without stitching it's hard to pull apart.

Q: Will this item glue fabric to leather? I'm trying to attach a duck cloth patch without sewing so I don't damage the inner lining.

I used it to glue a seam on my leather wallet. It lasted about six months. I know I have a new wallet.

Q: Is it work for carpet ?

I don't know about carpet but it worked great on leather.

Q: Does this glue leather to metal? Craft size jewelry pieces is what I'm bonding

I just used it to glue steel nut to a piece of leather (On the smooth side) and it is solidly glued to it.. Hope this helps

It is Fevicol with fancy name.

I am from India and bought this for my DIY leathercraft as recommended by many youtube videos but after receiving it I come to that it is nothing just Fevicol with some fancy name. Smart marketing or rather misleading marketing.
