Works great and since it has two features of the vest and wrist attachment it's great, comfortable and provides the safety needed for the toddlers who like to dart off and can move faster than older babysitter, grandparents, and great-grandparents. So, we share the two that I purchased and at first I thought there might be objection but to my surprise other family members felt safe and ask to use the harness. Toddlers don't mind either because its comfortable, safe, easy to apply and it allows them some flexibility to move about freely but safely.

I have a rambunctious 3 year old. The kind that chases after dogs and makes friends with EVERYONE. When she was 2, the backpack strap was fine, but now she's bigger and more stubborn. When we go into the city or tight public places, it really helps to have this harness. Her exploration gives me anxiety, but I can rest easy and actually shop knowing that she's secure from wandering and predators. I have worked with special needs children and I would say I would trust this leash even for the rowdiest child. Peace of mind when you need it the most. I wish I knew about this sooner. I have a 6 year old daughter with autism who bolts from any caretaker that isn't me, sometimes into oncoming traffic. I never thought I'd find something to ensure her safety when we left the house. So this was a game changer for us. It locks as a deterrence, which is great. It's strong, so you can trust it. And it connects wrist to wrist, humanizing the tether connection, from my child's perspective and onlookers. Great quality. Cute color. Effective. It is a little confusing and time consuming putting the wristband on and off, but a small price to pay for the benefits this tool offers.

We took my 2 1/2 year old grand daughter to the zoo. She can be difficult as she is slightly developmentally behind. This was a life saver. Giving her freedom to explore but giving us complete control on how far. She fought against it a few times and it held. Strong sturdy and well made. Price was right. It fit comfortably and I love that it has the reflective strips on it as well.

I really like this harness for my 1 1/2 year old. After bringing him into a store and having him run everywhere I was not and having a goal to go out the door like he was in a race, I decided I needed to do something. For my sanity but most importantly his safety. It’s not easy chasing a toddler when you also have a 5 year old wanting to direct his own way as well. I have to admit I always judged parents who “leashed” their kids, but I was so wrong, so so wrong and I totally understand now. I decided to take the plunge and ordered it. It came super fast and it was super cute, most importantly well made. He liked it! Also my favorite part is the actual leash part, it is super flexible so when he tried to run off it doesn’t stop him abruptly, it gives a gentle resistance if that make sense. I also like how long the leash is. It gives them freedoms without feeling to restricted. I used it yesterday for my other sons baseball practice and it was awesome. I could actually sit and watch rather than chase him down, which mostly was heading for the street. He also didn’t mind it and never complained about it which is really good. I did get a few looks but who cares! My son is safe and my sanity is intact! I would definitely recommend this product if you are needing something like this. There was also a cute bracelet included as a gift. That was so nice.

Used this to put my mind at ease during a hiking trip with my toddler. Easy to fit and assemble, locking mechanism worked great. Color was nice, and I like that it's reflective. Held up well for the trip.

Bought this for our toddler, who after learning to walk, no longer wants to sit in stroller during dog walks. We live in an area with sidewalks and lots of traffic, but not all drivers are pedestrian friendly. This super helps us to keep our very independent and strong-willed LO from running into traffic as we teach about traffic safety without full communication skills intact yet. This is also super helpful in crowds of people, although a surprising number of people were negatively judgmental, so we found ourselves being a bit defensive. Other pros: The reflective material is great for night visibility The coiled cable is quite secure and the straps and cuffs are very comfortable. Other cons: At the default setting this just fit our tot in a winter jacket and is a tad loose in plain clothes. For reference LO is in 80-90% in height and weight for age and walked late. Kids who are smaller and walk at a younger age might not find as secure of a fit, but definitely worth trying this on for size if unsure. Pretty sure LO will figure out how to undo the buckle, but we'll try to update how long it took. Other thoughts: I would buy another if this style came with a removable backpack or had some molle straps to attach water bottles, toys, or accessories.
