Hot Number is the 2nd book in the Hot Zone Series.We met Yank Morgan, Lola and his nieces Annabelle, Sophie, and Michelle. Yank provides more insight about Michelle a/k/a Micki after their arrival in his home. Micki tagged along with Yank, and was more into sports than hanging with her sisters.Micki wants to transform herself from being one of the guys, into a lady to draw the attention of the one guy who doesn't notice her. Damian Fuller, the Center Fielder and Captain of the Renegades. They shared a kiss, and Micki can't get him out of her mind. Damian is fighting to save his career, and he doesn't have any time for distractions. So he treats Micki the only way he can so he can focus on his job, as one of the guys.The team heads to Florida for an away game, but they are also hosting an event for children with autism. Damian contacts Yank to try and get the event cancelled. No go. Since Annabelle is out of the office, Micki is sent down to handle the event. What transpires after that brings Damian and Micki together in more ways than one.NO Spoilers here. Carly does an amazing job incorporating all of the characters you met in Book 1, plus new ones. There are side-stories that fit in perfectly with Micki and Damian's story.

This is my favorite book in the hot zone series. Micki Jordan is the Tom boy who is tired of by just one of the boys and Damien Fuller is the center fielder that is near the end of his career that isn't ready it give up. But when they end up working together can they deny their chemistry and is there more than just a lost weekend. I loved this book because Carly Phillips brings great story of love and some quick funny lines also. Definitely read or reread this book.

Damien and Micki have always been my favorite Hot Zone book. Idk y but true. Every time I read this book it's like talking to an old friend. And it never gets old. Each time I get his girly crush on Damien and I'm rooting for them to be together ven bough I already know the outcome. Beautifully written and Carly Phillips can tell a story like no other. Simply amazing!

I liked this book enough to read in one day. I enjoyed the characters it a light hearted sexy read.

Carly never writes a bad story! The second story is as good as the first! She never disappoints! Awesome series of three orphaned sisters and their bachelor uncle!

Book 2 in the Hot Zone series certainly didn't disappoint.Micki is the youngest of the Jordan sisters and has grown up a bit of a tomboy. After a New Years kiss with star baseballer Damien Fuller she decides on a makeover to make her into the woman she thinks he is attracted to.I loved Micki and Damien together. Both are very set in their ways, Damien especially so as even though he is in the latter part of his career he is struggling to even contemplate retirement.Carly has of course written yet another fabulous story and I cannot wait to read book 3.I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book
