Kid Basix by New Wave Safe Sporter-Stainless Steel Lunch & Sport Water Bottle

I read and read and read reviews looking for a good water bottle for my two and a half-year-old to use independently. After looking at this product reviews it sounded like a slamdunk, most reviews are very strongly positive and photos on the web show children younger than that happily using the safe sporter. I also had used their safe sippy for him when he was younger so although that had drawbacks I was by and large happy with it and thought this would work as well.Welp I'm here to say it's not working very well. He has a lot of trouble pulling the stopper up in order to drink and doesn't shut it very well either so it's next to impossible for him to use this correctly autonomously, he needs help. He's not a small weak child either he's a big strong kiddo so I'm really surprised at the fact the top is so hard to pop up enough to drink well from. The other aspect of it that's really gross is that it always ends up having a lot of goopy spit on the spout by the way a toddler will drink from it, there is no problem like this with a straw based or other cup I've seen so far.I'm going to try for a few more days and see if it works out but it's just not looking good. I hate to think of how it's going to go if I have to take it away from him though since it's become one of 'his' thingsOne extra star for the good intent and intended healthiness of the product

We've had this bottle in three colors for two years and love it, but for one thing: The cap is connected in a flimsy way and breaks off the first time the bottle gets dropped or knocked hard. This happens within the first week (it is advertised as a kids' water bottle, after all). But we continue to use them after the cap breaks off, and have had them dropped, thrown, kicked, and the rest of the bottle held up. (Well, the blue one lost the rubber grip in the center.)I purchased these because I wanted a heavy-duty stainless steel bottle that wasn't too heavy for the little kids and didn't need a straw (which needs to be cleaned and regularly replaced). These are great!

Guys...look no further...this is the cup for your child!!!. I love it so much... my child...8yo is autistic and hasn't mastered the drinking from an open cup just yet...but way too big for any type of sippy spout... these are great...cool looking...sports bottle top...does NOT leak...and stays cold...oh did I mention it has a lid to keep the mouth piece clean.. I'm throwing all my others out....and buying more!!!!

Whew! I've bought every stainless steel kids cup on the planet and been disappointed a thousand times...until now. They either leak out of the top, have easily scratched designs, aren't dishwasher safe, blah blah blah. This is the PERFECT kids cup. It's dishwasher safe, never leaks, has a rubber panel for gripping the cup, rubber panel is easily cleaned and looks brand new. I waited 3 months to write this review because i have no faith in cups anymore but this one delivered. I will never buy another brand of kids cup again.

I love that this cup is stainless steel so I don't have to worry about chemicals leaching into my daughter's drinks, but the top lid is not enough to keep it from leaking and hers leaked the very first day of school in her lunchbox. This item would be perfect if it were leak proof.

I love these bottles! My two year old was drinking out of disposable water bottles with sports tops but was able to squeeze them and squirt water all over. These keep him from doing that and he actually closes the cover over the spout so it stays clean. It took him a bit to figure out how to open it but once he did he loves them. Bought two so he can always have one clean. He uses them daily.

Love this water bottle. They are light and small for little hands to hold. We had hydra flasks for my 6 and 5 year old, but they are heavy when filled up with water. They never want to carry them. They love these and the sports top is easy for them to get quick drinks in between there playing.

I bought this when my son was 1 1/2 years old. Now he is 4 and still using it. The only thing is it doesn't keep the water cold.

Hygenic (no straw), light-weight & durable. Daughter takes it to preschool everyday. This is the second one I've purchased.

Like the idea. Wish it was all stainless steel but the plastic part is still of BPA etc. The silicone drinking teet is a little tough for my lad to lift on his own without using his teeth, which I don't like him doing but it would probably leak otherwise. Perhaps re-design the teet/lid and it would have got 5 stars instead of 4.

Sono una mamma molto attenta. Cerco il meglio per mio figlio. Ho cercato una borraccia per il mio bimbo di 15 mesi per molto tempo, ma tutti i negozi specializzati in prodotti per l'infanzia mi hanno proposto la plastica (che trovo poco igienica e di odore sgradevole) oppure la bottiglia in alluminio ( non lavabile in lavastoviglie e poco affidabile in termini di qualità). Altro neo di questi prodotti è la cannuccia in plastica ( difficilissima da lavare internamente e poco utile a mio figlio che non riesce a bere con tale sistema). Questo prodotto è eccellente, maneggevole ( ho acquistato la bottiglia da 350 ml) di acciaio inox di ottima qualità e mio figlio la adora. Amazon come sempre consegna puntualmente Impeccabile. Consigliatissima!!!!

Finalmente ho trovato una borraccia pratica per bambini, intanto igienica perché è in acciaio inox e non in plastica, poi si chiude con beccuccio di plastica nero più coperchio, quindi anche in borsa non versa l'acqua, pratica, e sicura. L'avessi conosciuta prima, non avrei comprato in precedenza bottiglie con cannuccia e simili che non sono durate nulla e tutte in plastica... Ne ho presa anche un'altra più capiente per quando il mio bimbo sarà più grande e andrà a scuola.

Wir haben uns mehrere Trinkflaschen aus Edelstahl zur Ansicht bestellt und uns für eine andere entschieden, da mein Sohn mit 3 Jahren den Trinkstopsel der eher schwer auf und zu geht sicher nicht alleine bedienen kann. Für ältere Kinder besser geeignet.Ich habe von Thermos eine isolierte Trinkflasche mit Strohhalm behalten und bin damit sehr glücklich!Ansonsten wär die Flasche schön und sauber verarbeitet, aber für 3jährige doch noch nicht optimal
