Here's the deal. I love zinus. They've got great ethics, and they put the products together with a lot of care and with good tools. This product, for instance comes with a ratcheting allen wrench. Great respect for their customers.I had trouble with this product. And I got fed up with it and just stuck with what I had. I'm not blaming that on the company though. The company referred me with the 30-day policy back to Amazon, and Amazon attempted to fix my problem by sending me another one. This one however, was another version of the same product. That means that the joints between the arms and the base or the head or not the same type of joint and therefore couldn't allow for an enter change of the damaged part.The part in question, by the way, was a leg of the foot of the bed being damaged in transit. The box came in a terrible condition, and the foot was dented in and had been jammed in a funky way. Not enough to make it unusable but enough to make me want to reach out and try to remedy the situation. I tried this whole process twice, and had the same problem. Just got fed up.I'm glad to believe through correspondence with zinus that I could probably take it up with him now and they would do something about it. But it just doesn't matter enough to me.I'm really happy with zinus, and I recommend their products to you, but be aware that if you have a problem, Amazon may kind of suck at helping you remedy it inside that 30 day window. Zinus would probably help you out after that window, if you contacted them. How do I say this through experience with their customer service, and having three large products of theirs.

Love this perchase. Sturdy, stable. Easy to put together

It took less time to assemble this than it did to remove it from the packaging. Basically, lay out the components on the floor and insert & tighten 13 bolts and 1 washer - that's it.It arrived in one, large box - about 85 inches long, weighing probably 50 lbs.Regarding the product:- The frame is very sturdy and makes no noise. I read that sometimes there can be some velcro noise (velcro is how the slat spacing is preserved) if the mattress shifts around, but I haven't experienced that.-Lookswise, it matches the photos in the description, and it fits a queen-sized Nectar mattress perfectly.- Pricewise, it's an outstanding value - I haven't experienced another bed frame for just over 100 bucks that is this practical and sturdy.Things to consider if buying this:- Use some BLUE Loctite on the bolts. Even with a metal frame, they can back out over time. Blue Loctite will provide just enough of a bond to prevent that, while still allowing easy disassembly down the road.- This is a metal frame and will scratch a hardwood floor if moved around. I have it on a rug, so there is no problem, and it's easy to move on the rug, if needed, but it doesn't slide around on its own.- There is no headboard on this one, but there is another model on Amazon that is this frame with the headboard, and it's not much more money.Cons:- I suppose the velcro could have better adhesive on the back side, where it sticks to the frame - I found it easy to peel up, but that's about it.

I don't write reviews usually but because I immensely benefited from reading reviews on this product, I am here to pay it forward :)Firstly, amazon offers for a $20 fee the option of the delivery person to come and drop this package right in a room of YOUR CHOICE! save your back and opt for this if you can! As others before me have noted, this box is heavy!Assembly: I highly suggest laying out all pieces and counting out all the screws and items listed from the pictures first. This way, you won't be surprised. I had all required elements necessary. Lay out the pieces in the right places where you will build this bed. Some people mentioned that with one person, it can be done but is better with 2 people. I do agree with that and I will add it was actually fun putting this together by myself. For the length (rail) and width portion to be screwed in together, it's helpful to lay out the wide bar down flat (horizontally) and hold the length/rail portion vertically. adding in the bolts in that position makes it much easier to handle while assembling alone.Quality: the bed is sturdy as expected from zinus. I own a twin zinus metal frame and this one is pretty similar, except that the queen bed has the center metal bar for added mattress support. Zinus beds last long from my experience so quality is definitely top-notch. I also found the price to be quite reasonable compared to other sites and brands.I believe some reviews mentioned squeaking? I haven't encountered this yet- fingers crossed. Just make sure to remove the sticker cover from the wooden slats before putting the mattress on. The sticker thing is supposed to help keep the mattresses in place.My only complaint so far (and it's not even a legit gripe) is that the beautiful color of the wood actually is a unique shade- I think I chose the "chestnut brown option". Hard to find furniture that matches that shade :) Besides that, it's a top notch bed with a great price.

Was put together easily, and seems sturdy.. Will update after a few weeks of use. If I forhet to update then it's fine.
