The kit has 4 but one is cut down smaller.I ordered extra cable end kit cause the top one is cut down smaller. It kept falling out. So I used a full rimmed one. This is the third one I have done.Edit:I remember the first one I repaired 12 yrs ago. The top latch will need to be put in a vice and pry up to fit flanged cable end. This is why they make the small one but won't stay in. 😎

Easy to install

Used these the first time for a 99 F-150 that had a failed DIY repair using zip ties to try to rig the cables into place with tension on them.These parts are cheap enough that anyone attempting to repair a rear door latch should just go all in and replace everything at once as soon as the first OEM plastic connector fails. This is now going to be a standard practice for me with any of these trucks.

The ends themselves are easy to install once you get the cable out of the door which is the hardest part. To get the end to push on the cable, I did use a file to knock off some of the roughness of the plastic and then had to use some vice grips and small hammer to tap the end all the way onto the cable but overall very pleased with these.
