Very nice ink in a handy tin.
I only really bought these because I was getting a J Herbin rollerball and fountain pen and needed some cartridges for them. I thought I'd try them and if they weren't that nice at least I'd have a nice tin to keep whatever brand of cartridges I did like in.So I was pleasantly surprised to find the ink was really nice. It flowed through the new pens with minimum effort, which made a nice change from the Parker cartridges I used years ago, before finding Lamy pens. Once on paper it behaved very well, no bleeding on a pukka pad. I've yet to try them on my beloved Moleskines, but I'm certain they will be just as nice. The ink is a lovely shade of black, not at all watery and dried quite quickly too. It's not waterproof but it makes no claim to be. My only gripe is the price, but you pay extra for quality on most things in life.I think I may get some more and try some of the other beautiful colours J Herbin offer.
