This is a really nice nail lacquer. It is not one of those jelly gel , thick gooey polishes. I use it alone as a basic clear polish . Must use 2 coats though for a really shiny look. Nice flexible brush for easy application and dries super fast.

I absolutly love this polish. It works well as both a top and bottom coat, especially for the price point. I used it for the top and bottom with a very cheap polish in the middle and it had minimal cracking for A WEEK AND A HALF which is the best I have ever seen from home air dry polish. 10/10 worth the money.

I have been painting my fingernails and toenails since I was a very little kid. I have tried sooo many primers and base coats and topcoats, from various OPI ones including the rubbery one, to sally hansen to sache vite. My nail polish always starts flaking off within the first day or two. Until this one!This is the only one I've tried in 40 years that actually makes the nail polish last six days. It finally starts to chip/lift on day six, so I redo it on day seven.I use it as a base coat and a topcoat with two coats of polish between them (usually essie or opi but it even works with revlon). It dry is pretty fast, but you do have to be careful after the topcoat to not really use your hands for about an hour until everything cures . It's truly miraculous! Just try it!

I saw a YouTuber recommend this brand because it dries quickly so I ordered it. I’ve ordered it 2x since.It makes my nails hard, prevents chipping and dries quick. I use as a top and a bass coat. I never have my nails done anymore. People always compliment them, they think I get them done!I always tell people I use this brand. I have used other brands that are just as effective but that don’t dry quickly. So I recommend this to anyone who wants to do their nails themselves and wants a quick, quality product.

I really like the Orly Base Nail Coat and Top coat. There is a blue tint to the polish. When I saw that in the picture, I thought they had used blue glass to make the bottle, but that isn't the case. This worried me a great death, but once I swiped it onto my nail, I saw that the polish goes on clear. Thank goodness. That worried me a lot when I first received the product. I was worried the coat would have a blue tinge, which would change the color of the polish. Thankfully, that is not the case, so don't let the color showing through the bottle deter you from buying this product, which is good.Since it is both a top and bottom coat, I think of it as being the bread to a jelly sandwich. The base layer acts as a binder or adhesive if you will, giving the nail polish something to hold on to. Once all the layers on are dry, swipe on the top coat. The top coat acts as a sealant, kind of like a glass window, providing protection from the elements, like the sun, but also it is the glass overlay protecting the polish from chipping. While the Orly Base and Top coat does protect your nail polish, the reality is it is so much more. I find that my nails have become stronger since I started using this product in conjunction with a colored polish. But it is not advertised as a strengthener, that has just been my experience. Furthermore, since I have been transitioning to a more healthier nail polish choice, I have found the polishes free of a lot of the chemicals chip and wear off rather quickly. With the Orly Base and Top Coat, I can wear my healthier colored nail poishes without them chipping off within a day or two..I have used more expensive nail polish top and base coats, sometimes in a combination like the Orly brand, but none have worked quite like Orly does. None have made my nail polish last up to a week, and none have strengthened my nails to the point that I feel my nails are the healthiest thing I've got going right now. The brush is wide and thick, letting it fan out like nail polish brushes should. The handle feels like rubberized material, with grooves in three sections, giving you the best possibility to grip the brush. I like that design because I have bad hand tremors and I worry about dropping the brush, Those grooves give me a solid grip and the confidence that I won't drop the handle. Great product by Orly! You can't go wrong with this purchase.The only drawback I found to Orly's Base and Topcoat is the packaging. I couldn't get the bottle out of the box, no matter what I did. The only way for it to get out was by tearing the box, which then takes away the chance of a possible return if it isn't what you had expected. That is the only drawback.

The shine is superb!It's two in one which saves time.

Love it…really helps the orly polish last a little longer.
