I’ve repurchased this several times because it’s one of the few cleansers that actually removes my makeup on its own. I don’t always have time or energy to double cleanse, this still gets everything off without leaving my skin feeling tight or stripped. My face feels clean and comfortable after using it. I love trying new things but always come back to this. Simple, gentle, and reliable — which is why I keep buying it.

I’m 52yo. My Dermatologist recommended Paul’s Choice Pore Reducing Toner & 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant specifically to address my pores. This combination has worked wonders on my face. When I found this cleanser I purchased right away. Let’s combine even more I thought! At first I didn’t think this cleanser was anything special over the CeraVe Foaming Facial cleanser I was already using but I stuck with this. It’s now been 1-1/2 months of using this & wow!! what a noticeable difference! With this cleanser having Hyaluronic Acid in, I feel makes all the difference as it’s hydrating my skin as I’m cleansing it. The aloe is an added benefit. My skin is the softest it’s ever been. My texture is more smooth & what was very noticeable pigmentation from the sun & acne scarring has begun to fade. My texture truly feels more balanced just as it’s described! What’s more amazing with this cleanser is I really only need a HALF pump to lather up my face. I was using a full pump & had excess soap so I reduced it & learned a half was perfect. This 6.4 ounce bottle lasts me awhile using it morning & night. There’s no scent & it’s not irritating to my sensitive skin. It’s very gentle. For the price this is truly a quality facial cleanser & I’m so happy I found it. I utilize Amazon’s subscribe & save so I save a little more & order at my convenience. I can’t say enough about this cleanser! Give it a try! For under $20 it’s worth it. This is my favorite facial cleanser I’ve ever used! One more positive is I don’t have that striped feeling, skin tightness after cleaning. I tone with my face still damp & move onto my serums. I only use the exfoliant a couple nights a week because over using it is too harsh on my skin. The combination of the 3 is wonderful but this cleanser sticks out above all others! I highly recommend this!!

I tried the Paula’s Choice Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser after using the Paula’s Choice Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser for a long time. I’ve been using Paula’s Choice products for years and genuinely love the brand, so I was curious to try a different cleanser in the line. Overall, it’s a solid cleanser and it does leave my face feeling very clean. The foam is light and it doesn’t leave any residue behind, which I appreciate. One thing I noticed is that it takes a little extra rinsing to fully wash the cleanser away. It does rinse off cleanly and doesn’t leave a film, but I find myself spending a bit longer splashing water on my face compared to my usual cleanser. The biggest difference for me is the moisture level. Compared to the Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser I normally use, this one leaves my skin feeling a bit drier after washing. It’s not extreme, but the difference is noticeable if you’re used to a more hydrating formula. I’m still a big Paula’s Choice fan and will absolutely keep using their products, but this one gets 4 stars from me mainly because of the dryness. If you prefer a foaming cleanser and don’t need as much hydration, this could work well for you.

Very soothing and calming. Reminds me of a milky cleanser and always makes my face feel clean but while not overly striping it.

I like this cleanser. I have normal, mature skin. The only negative I would say is the size - I use this once a day & for some reason, when I get 3/4 of the way through the product smells like it went bad. It's a shame to throw out so much of it. It does a great job cleaning my face without drying it out. Value for the money - this could be better, since I throw out a good amount due to the fact it smells rancid after about six or seven months - but significantly less than other high end brands & does just as good of a job. Face feels smooth & soft & not oily at all.

This is a good cleanser, it does what it needs to do and nothing more/less. I don't really think it's worth the 20 dollars but a little goes a long way so it'll last you a while. It is completely fragrance free and lathers up well, almost too well. I try to use less than half a pump because any more than that and it'll leave your skin stripped in my experience. Not sure if I'd buy again, this is a very basic no frills cleanser so if that's what you're looking for you can find that way cheaper. My personal go to is the Vanicream gentle cleanser but there are plenty on the market that are cheaper and just as good. I do enjoy other products from this brand but this cleanser is just mediocre. It didn't really help or hurt anything for my skin but I did find that sometimes it left my combo/oily skin drier than usual.

It cleanses well leaving the skin hydrated but removing the oil and dead skin.

Really effective, in controlling excess oil.

This is the first time I have ever purchased this product, and its is Brilliant!!. It is the best product I have ever used on my skin in 40 years to clear the oil from my face. I would highly recommend anyone to buy this product. 10/5 stars
