I love this little device
As it happens, I have a bit of scar tissue inside one nostril--from a big dermatology event years ago. The scar tissue doesn't bother me at all in the daytime, but if I lie on my side at night, I guess gravity works against me and breathing is a bit too hard.I was thinking for a while that I should be able to devise something to force that nostril to stay fully open--and then I found this. It is amazing. Just pop it into your nose and you're instantly getting more air. Well, of course, I don't know about you, but I'm certainly getting more air. I never sleep without them.As a side benefit, I've essentially stopped snoring, too, but mostly I like these for the improved air flow. It's not really good to breath through your mouth while you sleep and this helps improve the natural airflow through the nose.Simple and effective. Maybe you wouldn't want to wear it out in public, but it sure works at night for me.

The idea is there
I’ve just recently started snoring and is driving my significant other crazy while she sleeps.I wanted to try these before going and getting tested for sleep apnea. They come in different sizes with a small plastic case. I tried multiple sizes and found that the bigger one was the best fit for my nostrils.Day 1 - I struggled a bit with something foreign up my nose but found that I did feel like my airways were open more and could breath a little better.Day 2 - I woke up in the middle of the night to my own snoring and found that they fall out, my significant other stated that they frequently fell out in the middle of the night and she would adjust while I was sleeping.Day 3 - my left nostril kept getting clogged and when I took the plugs out it would clear up. I repeated about 4 times and decided that the “testing” phase of the plugs were over for me and that I need to just get tested for sleep apnea and poter will get a CPAPI like the idea and concept of these but these just aren’t for me. It takes a few hours of wearing to get used to them. You need to force yourself to breath through your nose and they tend to fall out a lot even with trimming the length as instruction state.

I can't believe i'm saying it, but, they do sort of work
My wife was getting pretty upset due to my snoring issue. I have a lower back issue so mostly sleep on my side and because I never do anything halfway, I snore while on my side so constantly kicking and hitting me to turn over doesn't help. I'm already there.I wasn't expecting much, just a desperate shot in the dark for lack of anything else affordable to try. I tried the chin straps, pillows, etc. Then came along this rubber thing up my nose.ProsIs it easy to use, yep? You need a little wetness to get it in but it's easy enoughDoes it work, mostly. My wife says my snoring has decreased dramatically and she's been able to sleep most nights. Sometimes I am just that good and it gets through. It stays in most of the night. I'm not sure if I pull it out while I'm sleeping or if it comes out on its own, but there is at least one night a week I don't wake up with it.Let me tell you, that will freak you the EFF out that first time.ConsSometimes it comes out. At least one night a week. It's not particularly comfortable but you get used to it.There is a little psych factor worrying that that rubber piece in the middle will break and I'll snort it down to my death.Short version, Do I recommend it. YEP, give it a try, you have nothing to lose and it's a minimal cost for such a wonderful conclusion.I hope it works for you too.

Uncomfortable!
This product is extremely uncomfortable. The plastic is hard and irritating to the nasal cavities. No way can you use them and fall asleep. I’ve had similar versions of this and it was always soft, pliable and comfortable. Don’t waste your money!

Worked pretty good but I had to customize to fit my nose
I like the product, but I had to cut two segments off the back of one side (to fit the really messed up side of my nose). They keep my nose open so well that I have taken to wearing them during the day as well as at night. I can actually breathe clearly out of both nostrils. Breathing is awesome! I used Breathe Right strips for probably 20 years, but now my skin gets too irritated from using them. I actually feel like these cones work better than the Breathe Rights do. The plastic is rigid, but that keeps it from falling out. It is really important to cut the cones down if they are too long for your nose, or one just one side if that’s what you need. If I didn’t cut a couple segments off the one side, I wouldn’t be able to use them. The really small and really big ones included in the mix I end up not using, nor do I use the solid ones that are also included. But I get a few of the cage style ones and I think it is still a good deal for the price.

Just plain stupid
Not only do these vents not stay in your nostrils, but they are hard and uncomfortable. I regret buying them.

Got some good sleep
Whenever I use these I know I sleep better cuz I'm more energetic the next day and my dog doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night to stop me from snoring in😜

a variety of sizes
The silicone cylinders are comfortable. They come in a wide variety of sizes. They work well for keeping the nostrils open.
