Golana Aqua Pro Swiss Made Mens Divers Chronograph with Internal Rotating Bezel AQ300-4

I was aware of the mixed reviews for this manufacturer but decided to give it a chance. It is a handsome looking watch - chunky, weighty, contemporary styling with a novel, internal rotating bezel. It's on a par with "Nautica" yachting, "Tissot" T-race and "Vostock Europe" anchar (all of which I own with no issues) in the styling department and I did consider ordering a replacement because it is so handsome. However, any similarity with the other brands quoted ends before you get to the question of quality. It cannot be acceptable for a product not to work out of the box, even at this price. As a result I wouldn't dare subject it to immersion in water even though it's meant to be water resistant to 200m - Is there any quality control conducted ? Is it really "swiss made" ? Imagine how disappointed you would be if you had purchased the automatic version at over £355 and you had the same experience.
