Replacement for the FIOS supplied battery.As long as your unit was installed properly and they didn't use the "empty space" where the battery goes for wiring, it's a 5 minute installation.Make sure you look up your model of ONT before purchasing to make sure it fits.

Recent power outage 2 hours long.Product held it charge.

Have had several of these replacement batteries for a couple of home systems (Verizon phone and alarm system). They always seem to work for a little while then need offline recharging. And then they only work for a month or so between charges. This one seems to be much better quality. So far so good!

I purchased this to replace the original Verizon Fios battery, which performed for over five years. It is a shame that you buy something and it doesn’t even last one year. Two months less than the warranty period. As others have written, even if you have a failed product you must pay shipping to return a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!??! Batteries are a special shipping item due to its caustic component and, potentially, fire hazard.I would prefer buy it at a cheaper price and “as is, where is” under these circumstances.2-13-22 UPDATE. After posting this review, I never heard from seller. Obviously, they don’t honor their product. I strongly recommend not buying from company.

I thought that it lasted 4.5 months because the replace battery light and sound came on, but I read where another reviewer unhooked the terminals to his and re-plugged it back in and the warning signals stopped, so I did the same thing and it seems to be working again. I'll update review again if there are any issues.

I purchased the battery for my Fios ONT unit. The original goldtop battery lasted almost 7 years. I wasn't expecting that kind of battery life from an off brand battery, but I was expecting more than 1 year. Almost exactly a year from when I received it the FIOS unit started beeping replace battery. I contacted the seller, AAA Security Depot USA. They said the battery was only warrantied for 1 year and would not replace it. Spend the extra money for the Goldtop.

These are good replacements for existing batteries of the same type. Works well with Fios ONT backup batteries, literally plug and play. These also fit my kid's scooter. Exact same size. No issues.

Great price and 100% compatible with Verizon in-home control station, but reported dead 5 months after install.
