SacroLoc Back Support - Brace for Pain Relief and Support from Sitting or Standing Too Long, Helps Stabilize & Relieve Pressure in the Sacroiliac Joints - Size 3

I’m 64 and this will be my third “Bauerfeind SacroLoc Belt” over the last couple of years. I started with a size 6 belt, then 5, and now 4. When I purchased my first Bauerfeind SacroLoc Belt it was after I had bought a few others with mixed results. I needed a belt that would hold my hips together for the long days it takes for them to heal, which none managed before. Of course the price put me off, as it was 4 times more than most others, and it also seemed more complicated. But I took the risk. And in fact, I wasn’t aware (as my Sacroiliitis hip joint pain was fairly new to me then) how much it was helping. Now two years later, I have found that it is the best belt to do so. Yes, I try and practice the posturing, and developing the habits that may prevent pain episodes, but after healing, I later find myself right back to that intense pain (fyi, tens units do a great job of distracting from the pain). I thought weight-loss might help, so about 6 months ago I started the Zepbound weight management shots (I am loosing between 3 to 8 pounds a month; before that I was trying to loose weight with mixed results). Surprisingly, and unfortunately, my relapse into pain hasn’t changed. Do I do hip surgery next, I’m ignoring that for now. I will only say that I’m happy with the results from the Bauerfeind SacroLoc Belt. When the episode is bad and I have to wear the belt 24/7 for about a month, it is much more comfortable from both it’s comfort as a garment and the relief from gravity on my hip joints. **And no, I didn’t think it was comfortable at first, but compared to those others . . . ** !

This amazing little belt is worth every penny! I have suffered from severe SI joint and hip pain for years. I’ve tried PT, injections, and painkillers but nothing helps long term. I was headed toward joint fusion when I came across this belt. After wearing it a short two days (even during sleep) my pain was significantly reduced. The most difficult part is figuring out exactly where the belt should fall below your waist but I was able to find YouTube instructional videos. For reference, I am a 46 year old female who has carried 5 babies - thanks, kids!

I ordered this SIJ brace due to hypermobility in my SIJs and lower back. I experience pain in both my lower back and groin due to this issue. I had tried the sacroiliac hip belts in the past with good relief of my pain, but depending on my activities, I felt they would sometimes shift up after awhile and not be as supportive. I wanted something that I didn’t feel like I had to position just so for it to remain effective. I have been using this support for about a week. So far I do like this support. I find it quick and easy to put on. I appreciate the loops in the straps to put my hands through to adjust the straps, as I also have weaker joints in my hands and sometimes lose my grip when tightening the belts. There are pads that are positioned over the SIJ area for massage. Admittedly, I don’t feel that these provide any additional pain relief in my case. I will say the breathability in this support is better than the other less expensive hip belts. It does easily fit under most of my clothes. I have worn it over workout shorts and it still stayed in place. I do feel the width of this support provides more overall support to my pelvis, as opposed to the thinner hip belts. While I do find this brace effective in decreasing my SIJ and groin pain, I’m not sure it’s worth the price of $224.95. To be fair, if cost is an issue, I feel the sacroiliac hip belts provide significant relief at a significantly less cost of $20-$30.

High quality but the support is so stiff and hard it was too painful for me to wear.

I am 63 years old, and I don't know when I started having problems with my 4th spine, but I was able to manage it by using an EXDOL waist belt made in Spain at the beginning of the pain, so I didn't have any major problems. I hurt my knee 9 years ago and my hip joint was bad, and then I hurt my knee again while going down the stairs in mid-December of last year. Then I had problems with my 5th spine, and soon I started having constant pain around my hip joint. Last week, 11 months later, I often walked with my legs bent when I stood up, and soon my legs started to hurt. When I saw this product, I hesitated because it was expensive, made in Germany, and didn't have many reviews. Since it was so inconvenient to live with, I bought it right away, and after wearing it, the pain disappeared and my posture became correct, so I didn't feel any discomfort. I can't tell in a few days whether the hip joint area will be stabilized by this protector or if it's for management purposes. The point is that there is no pain at all when wearing it. That's why I would like to recommend this item to anyone suffering from hip joint pain. I wish they would produce a black version too. 🩷 I also want a black one. Whenever I wear black clothes, black fur or fiber pieces always stick to them and they look dirty, so I really need black.

Provides excellent support of the SI joint, improves mobility and reduces pain. Just wearing it for one day made a difference. Highly recommend for any SI patient. Most importantly is the appropriate sizing. Measure accurately to determine the right size.

Didn't work for me, sent it back. At least I could return it

I have tried many many SI belts and this one beats them all! I have found that wearing it over the skin/under the clothes helps it stay put better, and highly recommend having a Physical Therapist or Physiatrist help you to know how to put it on properly. This is comfortable enough that I can even sleep in it when the SI joint is very bad.

The sacro belt is amazing. I have been battling back issues for a long time. I have three discs that are deteriorating and creating havoc on the nerves as well. The belt holds everything together and gives you relief. It is great for walking, and even helps me with golf. I would highly recommend this belt.

Ich habe das Produkt gekauf und nach Erhalt im original Zustand (unbebutzt und original verpackt) zurückgeschickt. Die Retoure gelangte dann irgendwann zur Firma Bauerfeind (Hersteller, Zwischenhänder, ...???). Dort wurde dann die Retoure nicht angenommen, da sie angeblich nach Salbe roch und benutzt wurde. Auf eine Statusmeldung der Retoure kann man lange warten, wenn man sich nicht selber darum kümmert. Nach ca. 6 Wochen erfuhr ich dann von dem Vorgang und wurde gezwungen die Bandage zurückzunehmen - natürlich nur gegen ein ausstehendes Porto in Höhe von 3,80 Euro. Fazit: Für diese Erfahrung ist selbst ein Stern zuviel!

Bin mit dem Produkt sehr zufrieden. Es hilft !!!
