I'd been looking for a good door mat so that my fiancé and I could really wipe the dirt off our feet when we get home from trudging through the local park (especially when it's muddy). It isn't a flat material, it's actually textured and has the course fibers meant for cleaning shoes off. So far it's been really durable and has held up to the weather (it's been raining on and off). I wish they made them in a bigger size (we got the biggest one available), but that's it. The mat is adorable (I have cats, and I love the upside down cat) and works it works great. And it's not to tacky or gaudy that the HOA has an issue with it. Definitely recommend.

I purchased two different cat themes of these for my daughter. I gave it 4 stars because it’s so darn cute but the black image wears off eventually.

It’s true that it is noticeably smaller than the average door mat. It’s very cute though and well made. The color on it is solid. Doesn’t look cheap. We have it on top of a rug, similar to someone else’s photo in the reviews. While it’s small, I wouldn’t say it’s too small. I’m happy with the purchase, But I will say that it’s not hard to find full sized door mats that are equally as cute on sale for a better price. But it happened. I did what I did and I’m not mad about it.
